UBA SANI ADVANCES KADUNA’S CLEAN ENERGY AND TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE

Governor Uba Sani’s administration is advancing Kaduna State’s transport infrastructure while embracing cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions, in line with the broader vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Installation is ongoing for a 1MW solar photovoltaic mini-grid and 1,305kWh energy storage system at the Ultra-Modern Bus Terminal in Millennium City, Kaduna. The management team of the Kaduna Power Supply Company (KAPSCO), led by Engr. Aminu Idris, recently inspected the project.

The terminal is one of three strategic transport hubs being developed by the Uba Sani administration to improve urban mobility, facilitate commerce and strengthen regional connectivity. Integrating solar power and energy storage into this infrastructure reflects a commitment to sustainable public facilities and long-term development.

Through investments such as this, Governor Uba Sani is translating his development vision into infrastructure that supports economic growth while complementing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The construction of this 13km access road will connect Turawa to Dinya through Da’a Kurungupi and Kadage, linking communities across Kwasallo and Turawa wards in Soba LGA.

A strong vote of confidence for Governor Uba Sani.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) held its 91st Senate Session in Kaduna.

Beyond the session, the student leaders embarked on a tour of projects across the state, seeing firsthand the investments in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure and other sectors.

After the tour, they unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Governor Uba Sani and endorsed him for a second term.

Sometimes, the strongest endorsement comes from people who take the time to see the work for themselves.

HAPPENING NOW IN ZARIA

Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, CON, is in Zaria Local Government Area as the Special Guest of Honour at the presentation of Emirs of Zazzau – A Biographical Study; 1800–2025.

The book marks the 6th anniversary of the ascension of His Highness, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, as the 19th Emir of Zazzau, while documenting the history and legacy of the Zazzau Emirate.

At the Kaduna State Special Interfaith Dialogue, Dr. Ahmad Gumi spoke about the changes he has witnessed under Governor , from the transformation of Sultan Bello Primary School to the administration’s approach to security and peacebuilding.

His message was simply that progress is best understood by the people who experience it.

The State Executives of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP) have endorsed Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, CON, for a second term, pledging to mobilise pensioners and their families across Kaduna State for his victory in the 2027 election.

The Governor, during a courtesy visit by the Union, reaffirmed his commitment to pensioners’ welfare and announced plans to further increase pensions. He disclosed that more than ₦21 billion had been disbursed for pension arrears, gratuities and death benefits. The Union honoured him with the “Pensioner-Friendly Governor” award commended his dedication to retirees’ welfare. Governor Uba Sani also donated an operational bus and allocated land for the Union’s permanent secretariat.
