In a major step towards strengthening public procurement and promoting professionalism in government His Excellency, Governor Senator Uba Sani has approved the training of procurement officers across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Kaduna State.

The training will enhance the capacity, efficiency and professionalism of procurement officers, while promoting transparency, accountability and value for money in public procurement.

The Good Character Award for the month of July 2026 was presented to deserving nominees with Engr. Ashafa Ahmad emerging as the award recipient.

In his remarks, Engr. Ashafa expressed sincere appreciation to the Director General, the Good Character Team and the management staff for their support and encouragement.

The Director General, Engr Sanusi Aminu Yero congratulated the award recipient, describing the recognition as well deserved. He commended Engr. Ashafa for his dedication and encouraged all staff to remain committed to excellence and uphold the values of good character in the discharge of their duties.
