Wadada Formally Accepts APC Governorship Mandate, Thanks Party Leaders at Lafia Press Conference

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has formally accepted the APC governorship ticket for Nasarawa State, describing his victory as a collective trust and a call to service.

Speaking at a press conference held in Lafia, the State capital, Wadada expressed deep gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, delegates, supporters, and the people of Nasarawa State following the successful conclusion of the party's primary election.

Several former governorship aspirants attended the event, demonstrating unity and commitment to the party's progress. They included Dr. Hassan Liman, SAN; Dr. Ahmed Musa Mohammed; Dr. Faisal Shuaib, represented by Hon. Abdulhamid Kwara; Dr. Joseph Haruna Kigbu; Dr. Fatima Abdullahi; Architect Shehu Tukur; and Alhaji Mohammed El-Kabir.

Also present were the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau; the State APC Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello, PhD; Dr. Aliyu Ahmed Tijjani, Federal Commissioner of NCFRMI; members of the State Assembly and State Executive Council; Local Government Chairmen; APC House of Representatives candidates; party executives; and numerous supporters.

Wadada reaffirmed his commitment to fostering unity within the party and working tirelessly for inclusive development, prosperity, and opportunity for all in Nasarawa State.

Warm Eid greetings from Wadada Youth Development to the Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State, across Nigeria, and around the world on this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha. This sacred festival reminds us of the timeless virtues of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and service to humanity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

As we celebrate with our families and loved ones, we pray for continued peace, security, and prosperity for Nasarawa State and our dear nation, Nigeria. May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers and sacrifices and grant us abundant blessings, good health, and enduring happiness. Eid Mubarak!

On behalf of the entire members of Wadada Youth Development, we write to formally extend our heartfelt congratulations to Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada on his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Nasarawa State.

We celebrate your well-deserved victory in the party's primary election, where you secured 196,090 votes and triumphed across almost all local government areas of the state. This landslide victory is a clear testament to your widespread acceptance, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the progress and development of Nasarawa State.

Your sterling performance as the Senator representing Nasarawa West in the National Assembly has already demonstrated your capacity to lead. As a youth organization dedicated to your vision and ideals, we are immensely proud of your achievement and remain fully committed to supporting your candidacy in the upcoming general election.
