Important Update for KASEDA/BOI Loan Candidates

If you received a message stating that your request was not successful due to an existing Non-Performing Loan (NPL), this does not completely disqualify you.

Once you have cleared the outstanding loan with the financial institution, you can proceed to the Bank of Industry (BOI) to continue your verification and documentation process.

This provides an opportunity for affected candidates to regularize their status and remain part of the programme.

KASEDA remains committed to supporting eligible businesses and ensuring a fair and transparent process for all.

KASEDA Digital Academy Campus Connect Engages Over 400 Students in Katsina.

We successfully hosted the KASEDA Digital Academy Campus Connect at Al-Qalam University, Katsina, with over 400 students in attendance, marking a major milestone in our mission to empower young people across the state.

The event featured special guest remarks, expert-led sessions, live demonstrations, and an engaging competition, where participants won cash prizes and free CAC business registration, further reinforcing our commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs with real opportunities.

As highlighted by the DG, Dr. Babangida Ruma, during his address:
“This is not just an event, it is part of a broader movement to create a more innovative, productive, and prosperous Katsina State.”

He also emphasized that:

KASEDA/BOI Disburses ₦171 Million to 76 MSMEs in First Batch of 2026 Interest-Free Loan Programme.

The Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) is pleased to announce the disbursement of a total sum of ₦171 million to 76 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as the first batch of the 2026 KASEDA/BOI Interest-Free Loan Programme.

This milestone reflects the Katsina State Government’s continued commitment to improving access to finance for small businesses, enabling them to expand operations, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to the state’s economic growth.

The beneficiaries, drawn from various sectors across the state, successfully completed the required application, verification, and documentation processes conducted in collaboration with the Bank of Industry. The disbursement of funds marks a critical step toward strengthening enterprise development and supporting business sustainability.

KASEDA reaffirms that this initiative is designed to provide financial support without the burden of interest, thereby easing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and encouraging business growth across Katsina State.

The Agency also notes that additional batches of beneficiaries are currently undergoing documentation and verification, and will be announced in due course as the process continues.

KASEDA, under the supervision of Dr. Babangida Ruma, and leadership of His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, remains dedicated to empowering MSMEs, promoting inclusive economic development, and creating opportunities that improve livelihoods across Katsina State.

The list of beneficiaries for this first batch has been published accordingly.
