CELEBRATION OF VISION AND A CALL FOR UNITY - A Milestone for Nasarawa’s Future
The Nasarawa Project Wadada 2027 family extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to Distinguished Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada on his official emergence as the flagbearer for the 2027 gubernatorial election.
This selection is not merely a political victory; it is a testament to your decades of selfless service, your unwavering commitment to the Nasarawa project, and your unique ability to bridge the gap between tradition and modern governance. Your track record in the National Assembly and your deep roots within our communities make you the ideal pilot to navigate our state toward its next chapter of prosperity.
To the esteemed co-aspirants, we salute your courage, your passion, and the robust ideas you brought to the table. A contest of ideas is the hallmark of a thriving democracy, and Nasarawa is richer for your participation.
However, the primary season has concluded, and the greater task of state-building begins. We humbly appeal to you to join hands with Senator Wadada. His doors are wide open, and his hearts are ready to integrate your visions into a unified blueprint for progress. Let us transform our individual aspirations into a collective force that will drive Nasarawa State to unprecedented heights. In unity, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
To our loyal supporters and the “Wadada Family” across the 13 LGAs: now is the time for grace and maturity.
Exercise Restraint: We celebrate with humility, not with mockery.
Choose Words Wisely: When engaging with supporters of other contenders, let your speech be seasoned with respect. We are all brothers and sisters of the same state.
Be Peace Ambassadors: Avoid provocative language or actions that could incite friction. Our goal is to win hearts and minds, and that is best done through kindness and the strength of our arguments.
We remain one people, under one God, with one common goal: a better Nasarawa for all.
Signed: Management,

I joined key stakeholders, party leaders, and dedicated members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the National Convention, held in Abuja, the Nation's capital.

The convention marked a significant milestone in our party’s internal democratic journey, bringing together delegates from across the country in a strong show of unity, discipline, and shared purpose. It provided an important platform to reflect on our progress while engaging in meaningful discussions on how to further strengthen our structures and consolidate on our achievements.

I am particularly pleased with the peaceful and successful conduct of the exercise, which clearly demonstrates our collective commitment to democratic principles, good governance, and institutional stability.

The emergence of a new National Working Committee is a step forward in repositioning our party to more effectively deliver on its vision for a better Nigeria.

I am fully committed to the ideals of our party and will continue to support efforts that promote unity, inclusiveness, and sustainable development for the benefit of all Nigerians.

THE KEFFI MANDATE: WHY WADADA NATURALLY EMERGES AS NASARAWA’S NEXT GOVERNOR.

As Nasarawa State steadily advances toward the defining moment of the 2027 governorship election, the political signals are becoming clearer by the day. The planned convergence of APC stakeholders on March 29, 2026, under the leadership of Abdullahi A. Sule, is more than just a routine meeting—it is a pivotal step toward shaping the future of the state.

With zoning already tilting the contest in favour of the Western Senatorial District, the real question is no longer where the next governor should come from, but who within that zone possesses the depth, structure, and credibility to lead.
From every serious angle of assessment—political strength, grassroots acceptance, institutional experience, and strategic relevance—one name consistently stands above the rest: Ahmed Aliyu Wadada.

1. Beyond Zoning: The Face of the Western Mandate
Zoning to the Keffi axis is no longer up for debate. Influential voices like Abdullahi Adamu have reinforced the need for fairness and balance, aligning with Governor Sule’s stabilizing approach.
But zoning alone does not win elections—structure does.
Wadada is not just from the Western Zone; he embodies its political backbone. His long-standing presence across Keffi, Karu, Kokona, and Toto has created a network that is not theoretical, but functional and battle-tested. While others are still trying to introduce themselves to the people, Wadada has spent years building loyalty, trust, and visibility.
In practical terms, he is the only aspirant whose influence already mirrors a statewide campaign structure.

2. Tested Political Intelligence vs. Unproven Alternatives
Nasarawa is at a delicate stage where continuity must be guided by political intelligence, not guesswork.
Wadada brings a rare blend of legislative experience and strategic political understanding. From the House of Representatives to his current role in the Senate, he has mastered the art of negotiation, coalition-building, and policy influence at the highest level.
By contrast, many of the other aspirants—particularly technocrats or security figures—may possess administrative credentials but lack the lived political experience required to manage a complex democratic environment like Nasarawa.
Governance is not just about systems; it is about people, alliances, and timing. Wadada understands all three.

3. A Proven Winner in Adverse Conditions
Perhaps the most defining evidence of Wadada’s strength is his performance in the 2023 elections.
At a time when most politicians relied heavily on party machinery, Wadada charted his own path, made bold decisions, and ultimately secured victory against entrenched interests. That moment was not just an electoral win—it was a demonstration of independence, courage, and strategic clarity.
It proved one critical point: Wadada does not need favourable conditions to succeed. He creates his own momentum.
In a political climate where adaptability is everything, that quality alone sets him apart from the field.

4. A Bridge Builder in a Time That Demands Unity
Leadership in Nasarawa must go beyond ambition—it must inspire cohesion.
Wadada has consistently shown a disposition toward unity and inclusion. His political journey reflects a willingness to engage, reconcile, and strengthen alliances rather than deepen divisions.
At a time when concerns exist about potential friction among some aspirants, Wadada offers a calming alternative—a leader who can bring together stakeholders across ethnic, religious, and political lines.
His return and alignment with broader party interests further reinforce his commitment to collective progress over personal rivalry.

5. Consolidating Sule’s Legacy with Political Strength
Governor Sule’s administration has laid important foundations in infrastructure, fiscal discipline, and governance stability. The next leader must not only sustain these gains but protect them within a competitive political environment.
Wadada represents that continuity with strength.
He combines an appreciation for structured development with the political capacity to defend and expand it. His national connections, legislative influence, and grassroots base position him to attract federal opportunities while maintaining internal stability.

Simply put, he is not coming to experiment—he is coming prepared.
Final Thought: The Inevitable Choice
As the moment of decision approaches, the responsibility before Abdullahi A. Sule is not just about selecting a successor—it is about safeguarding a legacy.
Among all aspirants from the Western Zone, Wadada stands alone in combining:
Deep-rooted grassroots structure
Proven electoral strength
Extensive national reach
Political maturity and unifying capacity
This is not a matter of sentiment—it is a matter of reality.
When the cap is finally placed, it must rest on the head of the individual who has already demonstrated the ability to carry its weight.
Nasarawa does not need uncertainty at this stage. It needs direction, stability, and tested leadership.
It needs WADADA.

A SALLAH MESSAGE from Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada (Sarkin Yakin Keffi, Magajin Dangin Lafia) to His Excellency Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule and the Good People of Nasarawa State.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
As the blessed month of Ramadan gracefully departs, leaving in its wake the lessons of patience, sacrifice, and profound spiritual renewal, I am filled with gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting us the life and health to witness this joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. It is with a heart full of reverence and deep affection that I, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, bearing the cherished traditional titles of Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Magajin Dangin Lafia, and serving as the Senator representing the good people of the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, extend my warmest Sallah greetings to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, and to the entire populace of our dear state.
 To His Excellency, Governor Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule:
Your Excellency, the holy month of Ramadan serves as a period of intense introspection and renewed commitment to higher purposes. As you lead our state with dedication and foresight, I pray that the Almighty accepts your fasts, your prayers, and your sacrifices made in the service of Nasarawa State. May this Eid bring you abundant joy, sound health, and continued divine wisdom as you navigate the affairs of our state. The people of Nasarawa West and I recognise your unwavering commitment to peace and infrastructure development, and we pray that the blessings of this Sallah reflect positively on your tenure and on the collective wellbeing of all Nasarawans. May the peace of this holy day settle upon your home and family.

 To the Good People of Nasarawa State:
To my beloved constituents across Nasarawa West—from Karu to Keffi, from Kokona to Nasarawa Eggon, and to every citizen across our thirteen local government areas—I bring you greetings of hope, unity, and celebration. This Eid marks the culmination of a month where we trained our souls in righteousness and compassion. As we adorn ourselves in fine attire and gather with loved ones, let us remember that the essence of our faith lies in the kindness we extend to others. Reach out to the needy, embrace one another across political and ethnic lines, and let the spirit of Ramadan continue to illuminate our hearts long after the moon of Shawwal has appeared.
As your Senator, I have carried your voices to the floor of the National Assembly, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to legislation and representation that uplifts our communities and creates pathways of opportunity for our youth and women. The trust you have reposed in me is a sacred bond, and I assure you that my dedication to the progress of Nasarawa West and the entire state remains unwavering.
 A Glance Towards the Future:
Looking ahead, with humility and a deep sense of responsibility, I envision a Nasarawa State where prosperity knows no district, where development touches every village, and where leadership is a covenant of service. As we move towards 2027, I carry with me the dreams and aspirations of our people, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of our forebearers—traditions embodied in the titles I am privileged to hold: Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Magajin Dangin Lafia. These titles remind me daily that true leadership is about defence of the people and building bridges of progress.
On this festive day, I pray that the unity of Nasarawa State is strengthened, that our economy flourishes, and that every citizen, regardless of status, experiences the true joy of Eid. Let us celebrate responsibly, pray fervently for our leaders, and remain hopeful for the brighter tomorrow that awaits us.
Eid Mubarak! Barka da Sallah!
With warm regards and prayers,

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada
Sarkin Yakin Keffi, Magajin Dangin Lafia
Senator Representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District
& 2027 Gubernatorial Aspirant, Nasarawa State.

I joined the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, for an Iftar gathering he graciously hosted for members of the National Assembly, prominent citizens of Nasarawa State resident in Abuja, and various aspirants from across the state.

The gathering reflects the Governor’s longstanding tradition of engaging key stakeholders and fostering unity among leaders and citizens of Nasarawa State, particularly during the sacred month of Ramadan.

Governor Sule expressed his sincere appreciation and delight at the remarkable turnout of distinguished personalities of Nasarawa origin who honoured the invitation, noting that such moments of fellowship strengthen the bonds of unity, dialogue, and collective commitment to the progress of our state

The evening provided a valuable opportunity for reflection, interaction, and renewed dedication to the peace, unity, and development of Nasarawa State.

WHEN YOU SEE A LEADER BREAKING BREAD, KNOW THAT HE IS BUILDING BRIDGES

On Monday evening, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada took his consultative drive to the grassroots of Awe Local Government Area, and it wasn't just for photos—it was for political architecture.

He shared a Ramadan Iftar with the critical stakeholders of Awe LGA. You would have witnessed a gathering of respected community leaders, party stalwarts, and loyal supporters who are tired of tokenism and ready for substance. This was a moment of reflection, yes, but also a moment of political realignment.

Here is what you need to understand about this man's strategy: He does not ignore the house that built him.

During the engagement, Senator Wadada took time to publicly applaud Governor Abdullahi Sule. Why? Because he understands that you cannot rightfully succeed a leader if you cannot honour the foundation they have laid. He praised the Governor's sustainable policies, proving that his ambition is not about demolition, but about continuity with acceleration.

He also extended the gratitude of Nasarawa's faithful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, acknowledging that the stability at the centre fuels the progress at the state level. You see, this is a man who understands that politics is a ladder—you don't pull it from under you.

But make no mistake, the agenda was clear.

Senator Wadada sought their support for his gubernatorial ambition. He reminded them that unity is not just a word; it is the currency of electoral victory. He emphasized that without collaboration and collective resolve, Nasarawa State cannot move to the heights where it belongs.

If you were in Awe that evening, you would have felt the shift. The stakeholders did not just give him a warm reception; they gave him a renewed commitment. They looked at him and saw not just an aspirant, but a successor.

As he continues these Ramadan consultations across the state, you are watching a man methodically weave the political fabric that will wrap Nasarawa in progress come 2027.

This is the politics of presence. This is the Wadada way.

THIS IS WHAT LEADERSHIP LOOKS LIKE.

While other aspirants are busy distributing bags of rice and patronizing social media influencers to buy votes for the 2027 primaries, one man is already in the trenches, building the international bridges that will actually move Nasarawa State forward.

I am talking about Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada.

Today, he paid a high-level strategic visit to the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Abuja. This wasn't a photo opportunity; it was a masterclass in governance. He is not just asking for votes; he is securing partnerships.

Let me ask you: Which other aspirant has done or can do what he is doing right now?

· He is discussing Renewable Energy to light up our rural areas.
· He is negotiating Mining and Solid Minerals deals so we stop being spectators in our own wealth.
· He is talking Agriculture and Industrialization to create real jobs for our youths.

This is the difference between a politician and a statesman. Senator Wadada doesn't care about "winning" an election as an ego trip; he is possessed by the passion to develop Nasarawa State. He knows that to transform Nasarawa, you need global alliances, not just local sympathy.

This is the energy of a Rightful Successor. This is the foresight of a Governor-in-waiting.

We need a leader who is laying the groundwork for economic diplomacy before the party primaries even start. We need a Governor who thinks about technology transfer and value addition before he thinks about campaign slogans.

Thank you, Senator Wadada, for proving that your ambition is for the prosperity of our people.

Nasarawa will not settle for less. We are ready for Global Leadership in 2027!.
