IN YOU-NIK ACADEMY LAFIA, IT WAS MORE THAN A GRADUATION. IT WAS A CELEBRATION OF EXCELLENCE, GROWTH & POSSIBILITIES ! 🎓✨
What an unforgettable way to close the 2025/2026 academic session at You-Nik Academy & You-Nik International Technopreneurship Secondary School, Lafia! The tie and dye attire worn by everyone at this event was designed and produced by our Secondary School students and their teachers in our art department. No two fabrics are the same. It demonstrated creativity at its peak!
We celebrated a year of remarkable achievements: from our outstanding 2026 JAMB results, to our national victory in the SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition, and the recognition of our school, senior staff and Proprietress by the Centre for Ethics and Self-Value Orientation (CESVO) but beyond the awards and trophies, what gives us the greatest joy is the visible transformation of our learners. Today, we see children who have grown academically, socially and behaviourally. Children who are bold, confident and increasingly able to think independently, identify problems and develop solutions.
Our graduating SS3 students gave us another beautiful reason to be proud. As their legacy project, they designed, developed and hosted an Alumni website for the You-Nik community; a platform created to preserve memories, strengthen relationships and keep You-Nik alumni connected long after graduation. They have learnt that education gives you knowledge, but relationships, collaboration and the right network can help you turn knowledge into impact.
The celebration was also a day of gratitude. Parents celebrated our learners, teachers and management, while the school recognised outstanding members of our community with gifts and rewards worth approximately ₦10 million: including landed properties presented to two exceptional members of staff because excellence should be recognized, commitment should be rewarded and people who give their best should know that their efforts matter.
We call it: “YOU-NIK SEES YOU!”
As we looked at our graduating students, we were reminded once again of why we do what we do. At You-Nik, we are not interested only in producing children who can pass examinations. We are raising confident thinkers, problem-solvers, innovators, leaders and young people of character who are prepared for the future.
From the new academic session, we are taking another major step forward with increased emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, preparing our learners not simply to consume tomorrow's technology, but to understand, create and innovate with it. So, dear parent, if you are looking for a school where your child will be seen, challenged, nurtured and prepared to compete confidently in an increasingly global and technology-driven world, there is a special place for your child at You-Nik.
