Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, today visited the Panda Road in Karu Local Government Area.

The visit to assess the terrain and the extent of work ahead of the planned construction of the road.

Following the inspection, the Governor directed the State Ministry of Works, Bureau for Rural Roads and the contractor to commence work on the project immediately.

On hand to receive the Governor were the Odyong Nyanpa, Dr. Joel Aninge, the Karu LG Chairman, Overseer of the Development Area, other traditional rulers and sons and daughters of the area.

The delegation was at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja to congratulate Governor Sule on his conferment with the TIMES HERO AWARDS, as Outstanding Governor of the Year by The Daily Times Newspaper during the newspaper’s celebration of 100 years of existence in Nigeria.

The Chairman, North Central Governors’ Forum and Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, paid a visit to the Sokoto State Government House, where he was received by his host, Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.

Governor Sule also inspected the ongoing construction of the 500-unit housing estate and the new Presidential Wing of the Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, commending the state government’s commitment to infrastructure development and improved living standards for its people.

Chairman North Central Governors’ Forum and Nasarawa State Governor His Excellency has commissioned the redesigned and reconstructed Silame Bridge by the administration of the current Governor of Sokoto Sokoto state, His Excellency, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto PhD.

Gov Sule, also officially received over a thousand new members to the All Progressives Congress (APC) who decamped from opposition parties across the area.

Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman, North Central Governors’ Forum His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has arrived Sokoto State for the commissioning of projects executed by the Sokoto state Governor H.E Ahmad Aliyu.

Governor Sule is in Sokoto on the invitation of his colleague Governor Aliyu.

The projects are the Silame Bridge and the 14km Garin Magaji–Gittaranna Road Project, commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the administration Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto.
