EPISODE TWENTY SIX

(LAST EPISODE)

Max mother also arrived in no time, she put a call across to a nurse who came to help them with some other things that they can't handle by theirself.

The babies where dressed up later, and they were laid on the baby bed meant for them.

The two woman went to the kitchen afterward and set to prepare food so that ola can have some when she wakes up and gain back her strength.
......

Max became worried after continously calling his mother and his wife but none of them were picking his call.

He looks frutrated when he realized that he might not get home on time due to the standstill traffic, he then called their family docctor to make an enquiring if his wife was rushed to the hospital but the doctor reply was no. He was becoming impatient and thought of who else to call.

After thinking for a while, he dailed Temmy's number.

"Hello good afternoon, please are you busy?"

He asked when she picked the call.

"No, I'm free. Any problem?" She replied from the other end.

"I think my wife is in labour, but she's not picking my call and the doctor said she is not in the hospital. Can you please help me to go and check on her?, please" he explained.

Temmy replied and said no problem.

"Morire go and get your shoes we are going to big mummy's house" Temmy said to her son after drooping her phone on the table.

"But you said I'm spending a week here, and I only left yesterday. Hope big mummy is fine?" he questioned his mother who shook her head.

"She's fine, just go and get your shoes" she replied. When he got back she helped him wore his shoe and they left.

Ola's was woken up an hour later, she was given food to eat and after she was done eating, she was asked to breastfeed her babies which she did.

She really wanted to play with her babies and if possible made the three of them lay on her chest but she was still weak. She fell asleep again after breastfeeding them.

The goodnews was shared with Temmy and morire when they arrived. Morire was taken to where the babies were laid, soundly asleep since he insisted on seeing them.

"Mum they look tiny and cute" he said to his mother who also stood admiring the babies.

"You were once like them, very tiny and handsome"she replied him with a smile.

"Big mummy please can I touch them" he asked directing his question to Ola's mother.

"Yes you can dear, but be careful so that they won't wake up"she answered.

He stretched fort his hand and hold one of the babies hand.

"You're beautiful and I love you, I promise to be your protector" he said and everybody laughed.

He held the other babies hand at the same time and said again.

"You two are handsome and I love you, thanks for coming into my big mummy's life. I promise to be the best brother. So you two should just grwo up fast so that we can play football together"

"He's such a Smart and intelligent boy" Ola's mother complimented after they were all done laughing at what morire said.

"Thank you grandma, what about big mummy can I see her also?"

"Not now, she's sleeping and really need enough rest, when she's awake you will talk to her" Mrs Adebayo was the one who replied him.

His excitement knew no bound when Temmy broke the news to him that his wife gave birth to triplet. If there's chance or any possibility for him to fly to his house that period he would have.

Max got back home after spending three to four hours in the traffic. He greeted everyone with a smiling face and after congratulating him.

He dashed to their room afterwards with morire who jumped on him when he arrived.

Ola just woke up when Max entered, he rushed to where is wife was and helped her to sit.

Morire jumped on Ola and hugged her, she groaned.

"Ouch, morire easy I'm not that strong" she said weakly hugging him back.

"I'm sorry big mummy I'm just happy that you're fine and thanks for giving me three babies" he said and Ola chuckled.

"I'm fine sweetheart, have you seen your babies?"

"Yes, and they very cute just like you" he replied.

"So that means they aren't cute like me, which means I'm ugly" Max teased with a frown.

"If you say you're ugly dad, who am I to argue" he answered his father and tick out his tongue.

Both max and ola couldn't help but to laugh at the dramatic morire. Max moved closer to his wife and engulfed her in a hug.

Ola, whom has been waiting for that hug busted out crying on her husband shoulder.

"I understand it's a tears of joy, you are as strong as the Hebrew women" Max said patting her back.

"I thought I was going to die, the pain was unbearable" she replied, hugging her husband more tight.

"No you can't die, we are both waiting for this bundle of joy and here they are. We will raise them together" Max said and broke from the hug.

"Can I see my babies now?, I was not able to see them clearly earlier even when I was breastfeeding them I was sleeping" she said and let out a weak laugh.

Mrs Adebayo carried one of the babies, while Temmy and Ola's mother also helped to carry the other two, while max pushed their bed to their room.

"How are you feeling now?" Ola's mother asked after drooping the baby in her hands.

"I'm fine now mum, thanks for coming around. Sister Temmy thanks also and granma I really appreciate everyone of you"

After a little discussion, the couples were excused to have their privacy.

Ola was only staring at them, she does not know what to say.

"I name the girl MORIANUGBA, the First boy IREMIDE, and the the second boy OLUWADARASIMI"

"Their English name will be, VICTORIA, VICTORY AND VINCENT"

"Such a cute names, I have to think about the name I will give them later. Maybe before the naming ceremony I would have think of a special names for them" Max said finally taking his eyes off the babies.

"So how do you want the naming ceremony to be?, a lowkey or the big key?" He asked and Ola laughed at his last word.

"I'd have prefer the lowkey but you know how it is, even the uninvited guest will invite theirself"

"And you know I have a lot of people who will never want to miss that day. We will discuss about that later but for now let's pray" she said and Max nodded his head before planting a kiss on his wife lip.

Months later, Temmy got married to her lover whom also was one one the well known businessman in the country. Morire continued living with Ola and Max but do visit his mother for holidays.

Once again, everybody were living with peace and harmony. Max doesn't allow his wife to stressed herself, her manager was put in charge of her business and everything is going smoothly.

They all lived a happy life ever after.

EPISODE TWENTY FIVE

A WEEK LATER

Morire has started living with Max and Ola, he was recovering so quickly and gaining back his lost weight.

They were in the living room one afternoon when they heard the sound of the doorbell.

"Come in the door is open" Max shouted so that the visitor could hear him.

He wore a frown face when the person at the door entered and it turned out to be Temmy.

"Mummy" Morire shouted and got down from Ola's laps and ran to his mother.

Temmy lifted him up and hugged him.

"How are you doing?" She asked making her way to where the couple were seated.

"I'm fine, guess what mum?. I'm a brother to be" he said with chuckles and Temmy smiled at his son.

"That's a goodnews" she said and greeted both Max and Ola.

"Welcome sister Temmy" ola replied to her greeting while Max only concentrated on his phone

"I don't know if you are less busy I want to have a private conversation with you" Temmy said and Max raised his head up.

"What is it that you want to discuss with her that you can't say in my presence?. Remember I'm her husband and.." Max replied her but Ola quickly chipped in.

"Max please, please can you excuse us?" Ola said but Max wasn't buying any of it. He wanted to protest further.

"Morire please go with your dad, your mum and I need some privacy" she said to morire whom immediately ran to his father. Left with no options, max lifted his son up and together them both went away excusing the ladies.

When Temmy saw that max was out of sight she went on her knees but Ola was quick enough to stopped her.

"What are you doing? Please have your seat" she said.

"Let me be like this please." Temmy retorted.

"Then I'm sorry to say that I won't listen to whatever you want to say if you insist on kneeling down" Ola replied and helped her to sit.

Temmy bowed her head fidgeting with her fingers.

"I know that have wronged you because I listened to a wrong advice and I also made use of it without reasoning on my own.please forgive me I'm sorry."

"I have learnt my lesson in a hard way. I mean in a very hard way. Yes I know I don't deserve your forgiveness. I took your love and humanity for granted. I insulted you when I should have encouraged you."

"I even stoop so low by..by using your problem to mock you, I'm sorry plaesee forgive me" she said and busted into tears.

Ola sighed before standing up from where she was sitting and moved to where Temmy was sitting and sat beside her.

"Honestly I was hurt and disappointed at the same time, because I wasn't expecting such behaviour from you. But I guess everything happened for a reason."

"Listening to an advice isn't a bad thing, but once left and right has given you an advice it is now left for you to decide which of the advice is good and will solve your problem".

"I understand your fear of loosing your son to me but I didn't, not for once have I thought of all you said that day. I also don't understand why I love your son that much, those period I was away from him felt like I lost a part of me".

Ola said, paused and looked at Temmy who still had her head bowed sobbing.

"I guess that day was the day God listened to my cries and answered my prayer. I'm not mad at you because I believe human being do change. And since you've realized your mistake and you're sorry it's if not use for me holding grudges against you. So please will you stop crying now?" Ola said and Temmy didn't know when she hugged her.

Ola hugged her back in return as she sobbed on her shoulder.

"Thank you" Temmy said amidst her sob.

MONTHS LATER

Since her husband left the house she has been feeling some pain in her abdomen and waist. She thought it was something she could endure or will relieved her as time goes on.

She was going to and fro in the room snapping her finger as the other hand was on her waist.

She managed to pick he phone and dialed his husband number when she realized that her water has broken.

"Max please start coming I think the baby is coming" she said and hung up immediately without waiting for his reply.

She then called her mum also since she was a bit close to her.

Max with immediate effect also gave his mother a call to go and check on his wife.

The pain was becoming unbearable that she couldn't help but to laid on the bed wincing and breathing hard in pain.

The baby was coming and nobody was available to help.
......

She was sweating profusely as she relaxed and heard the cries of a baby. The pain was becoming to intense but there was still another baby to come out.

She shutted her eyes as she screamed again breathing heavily. With all her might she pushed and another screams follows.

She rested her back on the bed exhausted when the had successfully pushed out the second baby.

"Ah mummy please I don't want to do this again the pain is too much" she sobbed when her mum entered and ran to her.

"Sorry dear, you're a strong woman to have do this by yourself but I think it's remaining one" her mum said after examining her.

"No mum no, there should not be another I'm tired, I'm dying" she cried holding her mum hand.

"You can do this, just take it easy ok" her mum said

"Now breathe in, then out" her mum added and she followed her instruction.

"Now push"

"No mum"

"Ola please just do it"

"Ahhhh" there was a long scream and next was the cries of a new born baby.

She fell back exhausted and weak with her eyes closed.

EPISODE TWENTY FOUR

"Max what are you still doing?, even me a woman that should be wasting time is done already" Ola shouted from where she was seated at the living room to the hearing of her husband who was busy dressing up.

"I am sorry love, i'm almost done" he replied a

she sighed and shook her head.

"I'm here now, you know i need to look good for you" max said when he finally showed up. Ola couldn't help but to laugh at her husband statement.

"Anyway thank you, so can we leave now?"she asked and he nodded his head. They both held each others hand as they walked out.

Their plea for him to at least take some spoonful of his food fell on deaf ear. His mother has stopped forcing him to eat becuase he would end up vommiting it.

"Sweetheart, you can only have strength when you eat, please eat even if it is just little" mrs Adebayo, his grandmother said but he shook his head.

Temmy and Mrs Adebayo were still trying to conviced morire to eat his food when Max and ola entered. Temmy raised her head up to see who opened the door. She widened her eyes both in shock and surprise.

"Good afternoon ma" the couple greeted, Ola was on her knees while his husband prostrated.

"So It's true?" Mrs Adebayo asked with ecstasy rather than replying to their greetings.

She stood up checked ola out before engulfing her in a tight hug.

"Congratulations darling, you're the first pregnant women that I will see glowing and getting more beauriful" Mrs Adebayo teased and both ola and Max laughed.

"Thanks Grandma" she replied smiling.

"I thought you said she will be back..."

"She changed her mind and decided to surprise us" Max replied not letting his mother complete her statement.

"Big mummy is that you?" Ola heard a tiny voice asked. She got carried away by her mother in-law that she almost forgot the reason why she was there.

She looked at the direction the voice came from and she almost loose her balance when she saw the state morire was. He looked skinny like someone who has been diagnosed with in incurable disease.

She slowly moved to where he was and carried him from his mother's laps.

"I'm the one my love" she finally answered as she hugged him. He rested his head on her shoulder while she patted his back.

"Where have you been big mummy?, I missed you. You promised not to leave me again but you didn't fufil your promise" he said in his weak and tiny voice

"I'm sorry I didn't keep to my promise, I never mean to hurt you baby. Please forgive your big mummy" ola said patting his back still.

"Promise me not leave me again and you'll keep to your promise" he said as a tear dropped from his eyes to Ola's shoulder.

As a type who gets emotional quickly Ola also couldn't help but to let the tear dropped from her eyes.

Both Temmy and Mrs Adebayo were surprised to see morire talked to that length. He hardly talks or reply them since his sicknesses started, the only words that mostly comes out from his mouth was "I want to see my big mummy".

"I promise not to leave you again and nothing will make me not to keep to my promise" ola said and sat down. She made morire to sit on her laps with his head rested on her chest.

"This is like a miracle honestly, the last time he talked to this length I can't remember. Thank God you're here, you can help convince him to eat" Mrs Adebayo said taking her seat beside Ola.

"Jay moore, you know big mummy and everyone else is not happy seeing you like this so you need to eat to gain back your weight and have strength".

"So are you going to eat now?" Ola asked and he nodedd his head signifying yes.

"Sister Temmy please can you help me pass the food?" She aked and Temmy stood up, made sure she avoided eye contact with ola before handling the food to her.

Temmy was a bit relieved as she watched his son eating his food without being forced.

After Ola was done feeding him she asked for his drugs and Temmy gave it to her.

"No big mummy I don't want to use the drugs they are bitter" he complained as ola was about to put the drug in his mouth.

She was able to convinced him as he took the drug. He frowned his face after swallowing the it.

"Hey you smile you look ugly with a frown" ola said and laughed.

"Thanks for coming" Temmy finally had or forced the courage to say something but with her head bowed.

Ola smiled and said

"It will always be my pleasure to see him happy"

Max only gave her a hard glare.

"You should have sent her back as usual. I'm very sure your thank you is just to deceive.."

"Max, please stop" ola cautioned and gave him signal to keep calm.

"Well if she's not ready to apologize, I do on her behalf. So Ola please forgive her" Mrs Adebayo said and ola scoffed.

"Grandma honestly I'm not mad at her. I'm really glad that nothing bad happened to morire" ola said and glanced at Temmy whom head was still bowed

"We'll love to take our leave now and I will need your permission to take morire with me" Ola added and Max replied.

"We don't need anybody's permission to take him with us, he's coming with us in fact he will start living with us and that's the final" he said coldly.

"Max.."ola was saying but Temmy quickly chipped in

"You can take him with you, let me go and get his things ready" she said, stood up and climbed upstairs.

"Max be calming down now. There's no need for your harsh attitude" Ola cautioned again.

"I'm sorry big mummy" he apologized and they both laughed.

EPIODE TWENTY THREE

"Oh my goodness" ola exclaimed when she woke up the next morning and checked her phone to know what says the time.

"I missed my flight" she dejectedly said.

She woke up very late that day, it was close to the noon time when she woke up.

She sighed before getting down from the bed but stop abruptly and fell back on the bed.

"Ahhhh" she groaned loudly when she felt a sharp pain on her waist. It hasn't been easy with her. From pregnancy sickness to craving, she also wished her husband was around her it would have helped a lot.

After she was relieved from the pain she dragged herself up from the bed with her protruding belly and headed to the bathroom to have a bath.

She rebooked her flight for the next day after she was done having her breakfast.

Later in the night before Ola retired to bed she knelt and said a short prayer.

"Dear God, I appreciate the undying love you have for a sinner like me, I say thank you for the smile you finally put on my face after many years of crying and being heartbroken"

"I have obeyed your commandment and I'm where you wanted me to be but please, if this step I'm about to take will make you see me as a disobedient child please lord forgive me. Forgive me and spare my life and that of Morire".

She wept while praying and pouring out her heart to God. She set the alarm of her phone to two hours before the time she scheduled for her flight, she laid on the bed afterward and slept off.
......

"Hello" Ola answered the call when she saw who the caller was. She was already inside a cab taking her home.

"Good afternoon Ola, I went to your house to check on you but it was locked" Mathew said from the other end of the call.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't inform you, I'm already in Lagos and I'll be in my house in the next twenty minutes" she replied.

"Hope there's no problems?, because I can remember you telling me the last time we talked that you still have two months to stay" he asked a bit worried.

"There's no problem, I just need to attend to something urgent that requires my attention. Thanks for your concern" she appreciated.

"You're welcome, I'll be looking forward to seeing you again, my regards to your husband and safe delivery" Mathew said and Ola chuckle. "Amen thank you very much I appreciate everything" she replied as they both bade each others good bye.

It was Saturday so Max was at home, he was busy with his laptop when he heard the sound of the doorbell.

"Nobody should disturb my peace today" he said with a frown face walking to get who's at the door.

His jaw dropped when he opened the door and saw his wife standing with a smile plastered on her face. Max, whose mouth was agape stood still staring at his wife, he roamed his eyes all over her body checking her out from head to toe.

"If you're not happy to see me just say and let me go back to where I was coming from.." She was saying when max hugged her.

"Ola are you sure this is you?" He asked and she rolled her eyes as if he can see her.

"No this not me but you in me" she answered sarcastically.

"So you aren't just getting chubby for nothing". Max said after letting go of his wife and helped her with he luggages to the living room.

She was about to answered him when he knelt before her and placed his head on her tummy.

"Dear little you in there, thank you for coming into our lives, we love you and promise to be the best parent to you" he said while Ola only watched him giggling.

"I'm very tired right now, I need to eat, shower and relax" she said after Max stood up from his dramatic position.

"Oh my bad, I'm sorry for not asking" he said and led her to the dinning room and served her food.

She took her bathe after eating and they both retired to their room.

"Welcome back my love, to be very honest with you I missed you" max said and pecked his wife lips.

"I missed you more, you didn't even bother to ask me about the pregnancy." Ola replied resting his head on his shoulder.

"I don't need to ask I already know that is the surprise you have for me" he answered stroking her hair.

She scoffed and raised her up.

"How did you find out?" She asked surprised.

"You know, a week after you left I accompanied mum to the hospital for her medical check up when the doctor congratulated me. I was surprised, he broke the news to me after I inquired about what the congratulations was for."

"I was earger to asked you but I kept my cool when I remembered you told me you have a surprise for me" he explained and planted a kiss on her lips.

"What if I say you are not the father?" She asked and chuckled.

"I know yiu better than you do, moreover I was too excited to see you and it came as a surprise because you didn't tell you'll be coming back today. If not the plan I have for you, I will only apologize the same way you did that night" he said and she laughed.

"I'm glad to finally see you carrying our baby, to be honest with you, your happiness can't be compare to mine. I'm the most happiest." He said and kiseed his wife again.

"Max what is it with this kisses, since we started this conversation you've kissed me more than three times" she said more like a complaint.

"I missed you" that was all he could reply her with before moving more closer to his wife and planted another French kiss on her lip.

"Max.." She moaned in between the kiss. He placed her hnad on his manhood for her to feel his bulge.

"Please love, I promise to be gentle" he said taking off his clothes already.

EPISODE TWENTY TWO

"Ola you're getting chubby, this has been in my notice for a while now. What is the secret?" Max asked his wife during one of their conversation via video call. He akaed the question about an hour later when they have talked to length.

"You just notice that I'm now chubby" ola replied, laughed and rolled her eyes.

"Well, the secret is that I'm not stressing myself. I'm always indoor eating whatever I craves for anytime" she added again with a wink.

"Hope nobody is disturbing my wife?" He asked sounding jealous.

"Nobody is disturbing your wife jealous man" she answered and yawned.

"And your boyfriend, how is he doing?" Max asked. Ola didn't reply but rather gave him a long stare.

"Why aren't answering me?, I only asked a simple question" max said and busted out laughing.

"I'm not in the mood for your tease this night, you can see how I'm yawning so I need to go to bed now" she finally replied.

Max wanted to say something but she quickly chipped in.

"I just remember now, what about morire, how is he fairing?" She asked and for a while max felt dumb. It's over one week that they took morire to the hospital and he's not in anyway improving, the only words that kept coming out from his mouth is seeing his big mummy.

Max doesn't want his wife to start brooding that's why he felt the need not to tell her anything yet.

"What happened, why are you not saying anything" she inquired inquisitively after waiting for a while and her husband didn't reply her.

"Actually, morire has been on the sick bed for a while now, and the only song he sings eveyhday is I want to see my big mummy. Since you're not going to stay long again that's why I don't want to bother you with it. " max explained.

"Can you see the reson why I don't want to tell you?, ola please crying won't solve anything. The best you can help him with now is your prayer, he's a strong boy I'm very sure he'll be fine." Max said more like a comfort to his wife whom started crying after the revelation her made to her about morire.

"Please do try your best and make sure nothing happen to him, please" she said cleaning the tears in her eyes.

"Nothing will happen to him by God grace, and you too please you know you're alone in that place I don't want you to get yourself worry to the point you'll fall sick" he advised.

Ola nodded her head in reply. Minutes later they both said their goodnight.

Ola couldn't sleep throughout the whole night, she kept turning from one side of the bed to another.

Rather than morire recovering from his sickness it was getting worst everyday, he hardly eat unless his mother forces herself to feed him. The scariest moment of Temmy life was seeing her son lying helplessly on the bed looking like someone whose soul would be taken away from his body anytime.

Realizing that she also played a huge role in her son's sickness made her to hate herself.

She never ceased to blamed herself anytime his son mentioned it that ola is the one he wanted to see.

"If not because his sickness is getting worst and out of hnads I won't be here, I'll rather stay in my house and see how you makes him whole again when he keeps asking of his big mummy everyday" Mrs Adebayo said annoyed.

"I personally came to warned you that what you're doing can backfire, so tell me didn't it backfire now?" She added her voice louder and harsh.

"I'm sorry grandma, I'm also regretting what I did. My son is not the only one in pain I'm also in deep pain." Temmy replied crying.

"The deed has been done and crying can't solve anything more over I'm not the one you should be saying sorry to, you know the right person to apologize to" Mrs Adebayo replied and hissed.
..

"So tell me how's morire doing?" Ola asked after exchanging peasantries with her husband.

"Honestly, I'll only be lieing to you if I say he's fine. I also feel bad seeing that innocent boy in that critical condition". Max replied and ola sighed.

She composed herself when she realized she was about to cry, crying in front of her husband would only hard to his hard moment.

"Can you please send me a picture of his current State?" She asked not knowing what to say again.

"I'll do that tomorrow" he replied

"Ola please promise me you won't cry and try to be Strong" he requested and she nodded her not sure if she'll keep to her promise if she made it.

The next day after viewing the picture her husband sent to her, she had no one to cleared her doubt if truly that was morire.

He looks paled and weaked, he looked like someone who is suffering from an incurable disease.

She busted into fresh tears after dropping her phone.

"I'm not sure I can complete my stays here, what if something happened before I leave in the next two month?. I don't think I can stay again" she said to herself and took another glance at the picture.

She started packing her clothes and other belongings, and planned on leaving the next day.

EPISODE TWENTY ONE

"Mathew" Ola called gently surprised to see him. Mathew also had that shocking and surprise expression on his face.

"Omg Ola, is this really you?, I was contemplating either you're the one or not" Mathew said after moving more closer to Ola.

They both hugged each other and Ola said after they disengaged from the hug.

"My God, you're now a big man" she teased with a smile while Mathew laughed.

"See who's talking, I don't even know how to compliment your beauty. It's so nice to meet you again Mrs Adebayo" he replied her stressing the Mrs Adebayo.

"Thanks for reminding me that I'm Mrs Adebayo" Ola said and rolled her eyes.

" So what are you doing here?" Ola asked.

"Actually my wife owns this restaurant and I'm here to check on her and my baby girl" he answered grining from ear to ear.

"Wow" she exclaimed.

"I'm really happy for you, congratulations and I wish you all the best in your marriage" she added.

"Amen, believe when I say God answered my prayer when I asked for a woman like you and I'm grateful I heeded to your advice and transfer the love I have for you to another person." he said and smiled.

"So you, what are you doing here?" he asked

"I'm here to get myself some food since I don't have the strength to cook" she replied

"And your husband?"

"He's fine and doing well" she answered and smiled afterward.

"I don't want to keep you waiting, can I have your number so that we can talk later?" he requested and they both exchange contact, they both bade each others goodbye and went their separate ways.

"Please Morire eat this food, even if it's just little" Temmy begged her son who shook his head as she tried to feed him.

"I don't want to eat" he said weakly and Temmy sighed.

Morrie has been sick for a while now and Temmy thought it was normal sickness thinking he would get better soon, but this is the second month and his sickness is getting worst.

He refused to eat, he hardly talk.

"I don't think I can handle this alone anymore" Temmy said before taking her phone and dialed Max number.

She explained with a shaky voice to him the condition their son was and he promised to be in her house anytime soon.

"His sickness started since when?" he asked lifting his son whom look dull to him.

"Close to two months now" she answered afraid to look at him in the eyes.

"And you didn't bother to take him to the hospital" he said a bit harsh.

"I thought it was something I can handle since its not his first time falling sick and I hardly take him to the hospital" she said calmly.

"Do you need to change your dress or we can go like this, we need to take him to the hospital" max said and Temmy quickly walked away to change her dress.

They both stayed at the hospital corridor while the doctor attended to Morire, Max couldn't but to stare disgustingly at Temmy.

"Do you know you caused all this?" Max asked when he walked and stood beside Temmy where she was standing.

"l.. I"

"No you don't need to stammer, all you just need to do now is to start praying that nothing should happen to my son if not, I swear with my late father's grave you'll regret ever knowing me" he sated furiously.

"Everyday I longed to see my son, but I can't because I have to let peace reign as Ola have requested.."

"Please can I see you two in my office?" the doctor asked when he arrived making max stop what he was saying.

"So what happened to my son?" Max inquired immediately he was seated.

"With various test conducted on him and with the result we have nothing is wrong with him mentally or physically. But I must confess he is only emotionally going through some pains."

"Is there anybody close to him or maybe that he loves and he's addicted to, but has been away from him for a while?" the doctor asked and the first thing Max did was to looked at Temmy who had her head bow.

"Yes, the person is my wife." Max replied after taking his eyes off Temmy.

"oh that's good, I'd suggest the person should check on him and I'm assuring you that he'd be fine. He's only missing the person and once he set his eyes on him or her it won't even take up to a week before he recover fully." the doctor explained and Max sighed.

"Thank you doctor, is there any other thing?"

"Yes I'll prescribe the medicine to use for him to ease his body temperature" the doctor replied and handed to Max the paper he had scribble the name of the medicine to get for Morire.

"Can we check on him now?" Max asked after collecting the paper.

"sure you can go ahead" the doctor replied and Max shook hand with him after saying thank you before exiting the doctor's office.

When they got to the ward he was, his eyes was wide open. He looks pale and weak.

"Jay moore" Max called lifting him up and made him to sat on his laps. He was fond of calling him Jay Moore because that was the pet name given to him by Ola and both father and son loves it.

"You're strong man, so why are acting weak?" he asked rubbing his back.

"I want to see big mummy dad, I missed her. Tell big mummy to come I want to see her" he replied weakly as tears dropped from his eyes.

Temmy felt broken where she was after seeing those tears from his son's eyes.

"Big mummy is not around for now and she'd not be happy by the time she's back and sees you are on sick bed, if you don't want big mummy to get more worried you need to be fine before she comes back" Max said just to convinced and cheer him up.

"it's ok stop crying" he added patting his back and looked at Temmy who instantly looked away from his hard glare.
