Leadership is not just about influence. It is about knowing your purpose, taking action and creating the conditions for others to grow.

Our first session of The Leadership Room with Dr. Omobola Johnson brought these ideas to life as she led a powerful conversation on “Awakening the Leader Within,” sharing practical insights on purposeful leadership, innovation and empowering others to lead at every level.

As we continue creating spaces for young people to learn, grow and engage with leaders shaping today’s world, there is still room for you to be part of the conversation.

Registration is still open, but not for long. Participants must attend at least five sessions to complete the programme and receive a certificate. Once the next session is over, registration will close.

We cannot wait to reveal our next guest speaker. 👀

Tomorrow, we kick off the Monthly Leadership Conversation Series with Dr. Omobola Johnson, Senior Partner at TLcom and former Minister of Communication Technology, Federal Republic of Nigeria, for a timely conversation on leadership, impact and transformation.

Come ready for an honest and insightful conversation, with lessons that stay with you long after the session.

One year. So much to look back on.

At their Final Socials, the 2025/2026 Cohort came together with the Executive Secretary of LJLA, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, to celebrate the end of a year filled with experiences they will not forget.

Then came the moment that had everyone looking back. The Fellows pulled out the letters they wrote to themselves on their very first day at the Academy. Same words. Different people.

What did they hope for when they started? What changed? What did they learn about leadership, about each other, and perhaps most importantly, about themselves?

As the year comes to an end, one thing remains: the journey may be over, but the responsibility to lead, grow and make an impact continues.
