🔴 MY BODY HAS STARTED COMPLAINING! 😂

I told my body, “Relax, we are still young.”

My body replied, “Young where? After eating three plates of rice and sleeping for four hours?” 😭

I tried to climb the stairs.

My lungs said, “Meeting adjourned.” 😂

I sat down and promised myself:

“From tomorrow, I’m eating healthy and exercising.”

My body laughed.

Apparently, it has heard that promise before. 😂

Take care of your health before your body starts sending you invoices!

THE WOMAN IN THE RED DRESS

Every Saturday, a woman in a red dress bought bread from Mama Ngozi’s shop.

One Saturday, she handed Mama Ngozi ₦10,000.

“Keep the change,” she said.

The next Saturday, she returned.

Mama Ngozi smiled. “Your usual?”

The woman shook her head.

“I won't be coming again. Thank you for everything.”

She left.

That evening, Mama Ngozi heard that a woman had died in an accident that morning.

The description matched her customer.

Shocked, she checked the ₦10,000 note the woman had given her.

Written on it was:

“For the kindness you showed me when I had nothing.”

Mama Ngozi remembered.

Months earlier, she had secretly given the woman free food when she couldn't afford to eat.

She kept the note—not because of the money, but because it reminded her that a small act of kindness can mean more than you ever know.

Story Time

The Locked Shop

Every evening, Kunle passed an abandoned shop on his way home.

One Friday, he noticed something strange.

The shop's light was on.

Curious, he looked through the window and saw an elderly man counting money.

Kunle knocked.

The man opened the door and smiled.

“I've been waiting for you.”

Kunle stepped back. “Waiting for me?”

The man handed him a small box.

“Take this to the police. Don't open it.”

Before Kunle could ask another question, the man disappeared into the darkness of the shop.

Kunle became frightened and ran to the police station.

When the officers opened the box, they found documents proving that a wealthy businessman had been stealing money from his company.

The police investigated and arrested the businessman.

The next morning, Kunle returned to the shop.

It was completely empty.

An elderly shopkeeper nearby explained, “That shop has been locked for ten years. The owner died the same year it closed.”

Kunle looked at the box in his hands.

Inside was one final note:

“Thank you for finishing what I couldn't.”

The police later discovered that the documents were the evidence they had been searching for for years.

Kunle never saw the mysterious man again—but because he had trusted him, a major crime was finally exposed.

Here is one:

THE KNOCK AT 2:00 A.M.

PART 1 — THE KNOCK

At exactly 2:00 a.m., Amara heard three knocks on her door.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

She sat up in bed.

Her heart began beating faster.

Amara lived alone.

She checked her phone. There was no power, no network, and no reason anyone should be outside her apartment at that hour.

Then she heard a voice.

“Amara… open the door.”

She froze.

It was her mother's voice.

But her mother had been dead for six years.

Amara slowly walked toward the door.

“Who is there?” she whispered.

Silence.

Then the voice came again.

“Amara, please. It's cold outside.”

She reached for the door handle.

Suddenly, her phone vibrated.

A message appeared from an unknown number:

DON'T OPEN THE DOOR. I'M WATCHING YOU.

Amara stepped away from the door.

Then came another message.

WHATEVER YOU HEAR NEXT, DON'T ANSWER.

She stared at the screen.

Three more knocks followed.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Then her mother's voice whispered:

“Amara… I know you're inside.”
_________

Amara backed away from the door.

She wanted to call someone, but her phone had no network.

Then another message arrived.

LOOK THROUGH THE WINDOW.

She slowly approached the window and moved the curtain slightly.

Nobody was standing outside.

The compound was completely empty.

Then she noticed something strange.

Her front door was visible from the window.

And someone was standing directly behind it.

She couldn't see the person's face.

But she could see their shadow.

Amara covered her mouth to stop herself from screaming.

Her phone vibrated again.

HE IS NOT OUTSIDE.

She looked at the door.

The shadow was still there.

Another message arrived.

HE IS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE.

Amara's blood ran cold.

She slowly turned around.

Nothing.

The sitting room was empty.

Then she heard a floorboard creak behind her.

She turned.

Still nothing.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

The caller ID showed one name:

MUM

------------------
Her hands began shaking

Her mother had been dead for six years.

The phone stopped ringing.

Then a voicemail appeared.

Amara pressed play.

At first, there was only silence.

Then she heard her mother's voice:
“Amara… don't trust the person sending you those messages.”

Amara's eyes widened.
Before she could process what she had heard

someone whispered directly behind her:

“She's right.”
