ure to offer admissions to senior secondary school (SS3) leavers into the world of banking operations study and career, leading to the award of National Innovation Diploma (NID) in banking operations techniques. In addition to skilling SS3 leavers, SBH has a mandate to re-skill graduates of banking, finance and other disciplines from Nigerian universities and polytechnics on banking operations techniques to make them more employable locally, and competitive globally, leading to the award of National Innovation Certificate (NIC) in banking operations techniques. In furtherance of its banking skills and entrepreneurship mandate, SBH has now become the special purpose vehicle to create alternative job inclusion for several young emerging bankers (Em-bankers) of the country that cannot be immediately absorbed by the banks under the brand name, Shadow-Banking, which will be led by experienced former bank staff (Ex-bankers) who are surplus to the needs of the banking industry…

In meeting the 1st millennium development goal on poverty eradication therefore, SBH’s promotion of the Shadow-Banking model will eventually lead to institutionalization of the Shadow-industry model in other sectors of the economy, and greatly contribute to GDP as in developed countries
