It’s About the People

For the people of Sesan Moyegun Street, the rainy season is more than just rain.

It means mud, flooding, and difficulty moving around.

But, Hon. Taiwo Ibironke stepped in, bringing tipper loads of rubble to help make this untarred road more passable.

And the people came out to spread it.

But this is bigger than one road.

It raises a simple question:

Should we judge people by the party they belong to, or by what they actually do for the people?

Because a party logo cannot fix a road.

A slogan cannot solve a community's problems.

People do.

Individuals do.

People who show up, listen, and act.

At the end of the day, politics should not just be about parties.

It should be about the people and who is willing to work for them.

The logo of the African Action Congress (AAC) consists of two raised, overlapping palms with the rising sun in the background.

The raised, overlapping palms symbolize transparency, unity, solidarity, and oneness. They reflect our belief that true progress can only be achieved when people stand together with honesty, openness, and a shared purpose. The raised palms also represent acceptance; embracing our diversity not as a weakness, but as one of our greatest strengths. They signify the collective power of ordinary people united in the struggle for a better society.

The rising sun represents hope, renewal, and a brighter future for Nigeria and the African continent.
