Profile of Amb. Moses Igbasuwe Hembanzan (Profhism Saint Moses of Africa)
Ambassador Moses Igbasuwe Hembanzan, popularly known as Profhism Saint Moses of Africa, is a missionary pastor, peace ambassador, seasoned writer, and community developer with a deep passion for serving God and humanity. He has served in Nigeria and Liberia as a missionary pastor, and is the founder of the Living Word Communion, a Christian non-denominational fellowship where the undiluted word of God is preached. Through his daily inspirational series Showers of Hope on Facebook, he has continued to revive, encourage, and restore hope to countless lives across Africa and beyond.
He is also the CEO and Managing Director of Dream Jobs and Properties Management Company, a registered property management and outsourcing consultancy in Nigeria. In addition, he founded the Hembanzan Peace Education and Awareness Foundation, a platform through which he has championed peacebuilding campaigns, social awareness, and community development.
Educational Background
Amb. Moses holds a B.Sc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja. He is a Certified Peace and Conflict Researcher (CPCR), a Certified Peace and Security Consultant (CPSC), and a licensed conflictologist. He also holds diplomas in Biblical Studies from Lagos Anglican Dioceses Bible College and is a graduate of the Pastoral School of Liberty Christian Center, Liberia.
His early education began at RCM Primary School Aduku and St. Joseph Primary School, Makurdi, after which he proceeded to Yonov Community Secondary School and later Queen’s Arts and Science Secondary School, Suleja, where he obtained his SSCE.
Projects and Initiatives
Youth Empowerment through Talent Hunts (2011): Amb. Moses became the first young man in Masev Land to fund a talent hunt show from his farm proceeds, giving young people a platform to showcase their gifts and redirect their energy toward productive ventures.
Peaceful Election Campaigns (2023): Through his Foundation, he spearheaded campaigns in Benue State against political, religious, and ethnic violence. His peace crusade contributed to Benue recording zero election violence in the 2023 elections.
Children as Tools for Peace: He initiated school outreach programmes to promote peaceful coexistence in communities affected by communal crises, gifting learning materials and instilling values of peace among children.

Family and Personal Life
Born into a family of ten, Amb. Moses is the youngest child. The father late Orya Hembanzan Iusa died in 2017 at the age of 105 years leaving his aged mother Mrs Hannah Mpenkaven Hembanzan. A devout Christian, farmer, electrician, and counsellor with over ten years’ experience, he continues to inspire and empower young people across Africa and the world.
Political Vision – 2027 and Beyond
Ahead of 2027, Ambassador Moses Igbasuwe Hembanzan is offering himself to serve as the candidate for Gwer East Constituency, Benue State House of Assembly.
His vision is clear:
