Benue Council on Privatisation and Commercialisation - BCPC The legal basis for privatization and commercialization in Benue State is the Privatisation and Commercialisation Law, 2010.

We catalyse broad-based development and the re-industrialisation of Benue State by privatising and commercialisation of the state-owned enterprises to credible investors to induce competition. The law establishes the State Council on Privatisation and Commercialisation (SCPC) to articulate the economic and social objectives of privatisation and commercialisation of state enterprises (SEs). SCPC re

commends the policies, guidelines, and criteria on privatisation, among others. The law establishes a Bureau of State Enterprises (BSE) as a secretariat of the Council that carries out duties and responsibilities assigned to it by the Council.
