the alleged $24 billion contract awarded by NNPC, Bar Kasim Sulaiman- a through bred oil & gas industry man, has this to say:
"Although the contracting processes have been concluded, the result of the technical and commercial bid evaluations is yet to be presented to FEC for approval. Furthermore, the contract has not commence contrary to what is being insinuated. But all arrangements to award the contract have been completed.
Note that the project is segmented into 3 parts: Ajaokuta to Abuja, Abuja to Kaduna, and Kaduna to Kano. It is going to be100% PPP financing model. The EPC contractors who double as the financiers will run the Gas Pipeline for 8 years during which they are expected to recoup from their investment."
So what's the illegality or corruption here?
