The holy month of is a blessing to those who yearn for the acceptance of the Allah and who in obedience have fasted to acquire piety and discipline. This period of unquestioning restraint strengthens the believer’s resolve to adhere to the teachings of Allah with an unwavering loyalty.

The essential lessons of -ul-Fitr encourage us to make sacrifices and to reflect on our own lives and the ways in which we can live for the benefit of our family, community, and our country.

At this special time, as you gather together with your , friends and neighbours to pray, to exchange gifts and to share meals, amidst these , please remember those in need, by extending a hand of and compassion to those less fortunate than yourself.

At the start of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan, I send my warmest wishes to Muslims in Mubi Emirate council (Mubi North, South, , and ), State, and across the world.

A time of charity and spiritual contemplation, reminds us to put the needs of others before our own and to practice those values in our daily lives, I pray for everyone’s safety, well-being and prosperity. May this Holy Month bring with it abundance of kindness, harmony and compassion. May we achieve a decisive victory in the ongoing battle against insecurity, hardship and create a better .

I am immensely proud that people from many different faiths and backgrounds call Mubi Emirate Council their home.
