I almost didn’t walk into that room that day…
Everything in me said, “You’re not ready yet.”
But something louder whispered, “Go anyway.”
That morning started like every other normal day. No special invitation, no convoy, no headlines waiting. Just me, my simple outfit, and a heart full of quiet dreams nobody could see.
When I got the call, I thought it was a joke. “Come to the office, someone important wants to see you.” Important ke? Me? I nearly ignored it. But curiosity carried my feet where confidence couldn’t.
As I stepped in, the air changed. Silence. Eyes turned. Then I saw him standing there… calm, composed, like he had been expecting me all along.
“Are you ready?” he asked.
Ready for what? I didn’t even know.
Before I could overthink it, my name was called. Not just called… announced. In that moment, everything I had been doing quietly, all the late nights, the doubts, the small wins nobody clapped for — it all suddenly made sense.
And then it happened.
A handshake that felt heavier than it looked.
A certificate placed in my hands… not just paper, but proof that consistency speaks louder than noise.
I smiled, but deep down, I was remembering every moment I almost gave up.
And then, I woke up from sleep 😔😔😔
Funny how life works…
The doors you think are closed forever sometimes just need one more knock.
So if you’re out there thinking your efforts are invisible…
Keep going.
One day, your “quiet work” will make a loud entrance.
And when that moment comes…
Stand tall, smile, and receive it like you’ve always known it was yours 🤍
