Amnesty International strongly condemns the reckless and violent language of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Mr. Nyesom Wike in which he stated that he can respond to a statement by a journalist with shooting.

Mr. Wike stated on live television that: “If there’s anyway to broke (sic) the screen, I would have shot him…” Apart from inciting violence Wike’s remarks violated Nigeria’s broadcasting code that the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) is supposed to be enforcing.

What Wike said carries the danger of normalizing violence and encouraging the targeting of journalists for just doing their job. This level of violent intent coming from a member of Nigeria’s federal cabinet is unlawful and unacceptable.

Mr. Wike must withdraw his violent statement immediately and apologize. The Nigerian authorities must stop condoning such lawless acts when they come from those close to power or the ruling party.

If you can pay rent every year, you can own your own land and build your own house

The bitter truth from Atanda is this, as a man above 30 years of age.
As the day is counting, your strength is failing

You have less than 20 years more, to be very active physically and your mental health will be suffering too.

Sickness that will likely lead to your D£ will show up anytime soon and you won't get cure for it, instead you will be managing the Sickness

If you fall into the category of men who can't save at least 100k monthly after all expenses, you have a problem already and you are the one that need this advice most

Am not saying GOD won't bless you, but before the blessings comes, work with what you have.

You may even think the blessings will come and at 50, the blessings never show face. Life is not predictable sometimes ooooo, e go carry over 2.5 🤣🤣

You must do everything not to have accommodation problem when your strength is getting weak.

If you can't afford to buy Land in the city where you work.
Go back to your village and buy Land or any area that still look village with no much Land problems.
Lay foundation for a room and parlour self contain

Buy half plot or quarter plot and plan to add at least 20 blocks every month, even if na just 10 blocks, no shame

Add am every month. In no time

You will complete the a room and parlor self contains

If the blessings later show face, you can abandon it or give it to another struggling man you know around you.

Don't be a tenant at Retirement age

Those young Landlord go show you shege, especially those ones wey inherit the property

Atanda is not trying to insult anyone pls, it's just a wake up call for those who understands the brotherhood code

Give excuse from now till next year, ppu who earn far less than you don get small land build something ooo, your excuse won't save you when reality sets in

Ignorance of the law is no excuse
