For too long, local governments have been starved of funds and stripped of authority by state governors. The result is that the tier of government closest to the people has become the most powerless.

Other opposition parties are too focused on in-fighting and horse trading to hold those in power to account.

I told President Tinubu last year: you have to use your gun to kill the terrorists or use a pen to resign. If you can’t do it, quit the job. Other people will do it.

That's why I'm running to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Because Nigerians deserve to be safe in their homes. Because the first job of any government is to protect the people.
