APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY: SELONG, UNO RALLY MASSIVE SUPPORT FOR PASTOR UMO ENO IN URUE OFFONG/ORUKO LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Today, the atmosphere across Urue Offong/Oruko Local Government was filled with enthusiasm and renewed hope as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primary Election held successfully across the nation.
In demonstration of unity, leadership, and commitment to the progress of the party, the Executive Chairman of Urue Offong/Oruko Local Government, Rt. Hon. Chief Uno Etim Uno, alongside the Member representing Urue Offong/Oruko State Constituency and APC Flag Bearer for the 2027 general elections, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Precious Selong, warmly received the APC Local Government Returning Officer at the Council Secretariat.
At Ward 4, the ever-vibrant Rt. Hon. Mrs. Precious Selong addressed a massive gathering of party faithful and supporters of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the primary election exercise. In her remarks, the lawmaker passionately highlighted the numerous developmental strides and people-oriented projects executed by Governor Umo Eno in Ward 4, Urue Offong/Oruko Local Government Area, and Akwa Ibom State at large.
She applauded the Governor’s commitment to grassroots development, empowerment, infrastructural advancement, and inclusive governance, while urging the people to remain steadfast in their support for the administration. Her speech was met with loud cheers and overwhelming solidarity as supporters proudly queued behind the Governor’s agent during the headcount exercise, reaffirming their confidence in the leadership and vision of Pastor Umo Eno.
Also addressing supporters at the event were the NPC Federal Commissioner, Engr. Chief Benedict Ukpong, and the APC Chapter Chairman, both of whom commended the people for their loyalty, unity, and unwavering support for Governor Umo Eno and the APC-led government.
In the same spirit of appreciation and political solidarity, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Precious Selong later attended a grand thank-you meeting organized by His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, at his country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area. The gathering served as an avenue for stakeholders, party leaders, and supporters to celebrate the peaceful and successful conduct of the primary election while strengthening the bond within the APC family.
The day’s events once again reflected the growing strength, unity, and grassroots acceptance of the APC in Urue Offong/Oruko and Akwa Ibom State as the party continues to consolidate for greater victories ahead.
