Dear YORÙBÁS, the Iran and USA conflict is not a religious war. It is a political struggle for supremacy and power. Do not allow yourself to be misled. Let us look at simple facts.
1. Pakistan and Afghanistan, both Muslim countries, are currently exchanging heavy attacks and tensions.
2. Russia and Ukraine, largely Christian nations, have been locked in a brutal war for over two years.
3. The United States has also had political and military confrontations with countries that are not religious rivals, Vanuzuela is a very good example.
4. Even in the current Iran and USA tensions, some Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East openly support the United States due to strategic alliances.
5. Our own priority is to seeing Yoruba Muslim, christians and traditionlists staying together peacefully, because if insecurity is happening or affecting YORÙBÁ land, no Iranian or Israelite will rise up and protest for YORÙBÁ people, let's be wise in Yoruba land.
6. As a yoruba t'ọkan-t'ọkan, do not support any form of protest in Nigeria in solidarity to Israelites or Iranians, because these people don't care about you and you're Yorùbá in west Africa, both Iranians and Israelites are in the middle east, they are not aware of what's going in your own region.
7. How many times have you seen Iranians carrying flag up and down to protest against insurgency that going on in northern NIGERIA? But we've seen Northeners carrying Iranian and Palestinian flag to support them; this is exactly what am trying to explain for my dear YORÙBÁ people not to support any form of protest in Nigeria in solidarity to Israelites or Iranians.
These realities show that global wars are driven mainly by politics, interests, and influence, not religion.
As a yoruba, we must stay focused. Muslims and Christians in yoruba land share the same land, the same struggles, and the same future. Our real enemies are insecurity, Boko Haram, banditry, poverty, and disunity.
Let global powers handle their conflicts. Our priority should be fixing our home. Unity is our greatest strength. If we stand together as one people, no challenge within Yoruba land will defeat us.
Yoruba first✊. Unity always.
Èdùmàrè bless Odùduwà descendants.
