Among numerous programs initiatated by the Honourable include:

Free ICT Centre situated at Mubarak Estate, Mubarak Bus Stop to educate the people of her constituency in information technology. The centre provides completely free quality ICT education to the people of Ifo Consituency II Ogun State House of Assembly. Two programs are currently been run at the centre; Desktop Publishing and Computer

Engineering, these programs are run in two sessions, morning and afternoon for 3month duration. Desktop Publishing has the following modules: Computer Appreciation, Microsoft Essentials (Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and Graphics Design (CorelDraw and Photoshop). The centre enrolled total of 48 students in Desktop Publishing class and 24 students in computer engineering class in a batch. The centre is manged by seasoned ICT expert of over 10 years experience and highly qualify instructors. The centre runs modern and standardized ICT curriculum based on the current and emerging technology.

With profound gratitude to Almighty God and a deeply humbled heart, I formally accept the official declaration by the Chairman of the State APC House of Representatives Primary Elections Committee, His Excellency, Shuaib Philip, affirming my emergence as the Candidate of our great party, APC, for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency. The declaration is a solemn Call to greater service, deeper responsibility, and stronger commitment to the collective aspiration of our people.

I remain sincerely grateful to our party leadership, Apex Leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and every loyal party faithfuls whose sacrifices, prayers, encouragements, and steadfast belief made this moment possible will never be taken for granted.

As we move forward together towards the next phase of the elections, I recommit myself to purposeful, inclusive, and people-driven representation that will continue to unite our Federal Constituency and advance the progressive ideals of our great party.

OGUN EX-COMMISSIONER, ADELEYE, SECURES APC TICKET FOR 2027 POLL

Former Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 General Elections following her victory at the party’s primary election held on Saturday.

Adeleye secured a sweeping victory across the 21 wards that make up the Federal Constituency, polling a total of 25,167 votes.

According to the result announced by the Party’s Electoral Officer, Wale Ajayi, in the presence of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials, security officials and party stakeholders at Ifo RCM 1, "Adeleye garnered 17,286 votes from Ifo Local Government Area and 7,881 votes from Ewekoro Local Government Area, totaling
25,167 votes"

"I am glad that the election witnessed massive participation by delegates, party faithful, and stakeholders across the two Local Government Areas, with observers across wards describing it as peaceful, orderly, transparent, and reflective of the internal democratic values of the All Progressives Congress (APC). I commend the maturity displayed throughout the process, as it is a strong signal of unity and cohesion within the party structure ahead of the 2027 elections", the former commissioner stated.

Adeleye expressed gratitude to the leadership and members of the party for their confidence and overwhelming support, noting that the peaceful conduct of the exercise further reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal democracy, inclusiveness, and progressive ideals.

“The election was conducted peacefully and transparently, reflecting the maturity, discipline, and unity within our great party. Beyond the outcome, today’s exercise further demonstrates that our party, the APC remains committed to internal democracy, fairness, and collective progress. I sincerely appreciate the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Consensus Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Adeola Olamilekan, leaders, stakeholders, delegates, and party faithful for their confidence, sacrifices, and unwavering support throughout this process,” she stated.

It would be recalled that Hon. Adeleye’s candidacy had earlier received the endorsement of key Apex leaders and stakeholders across the Federal Constituency including the Chairman of Ifo Apex Leaders, Chief Joju Fadairo; former Member of the House of Representatives and Chairman, Apex Leadership, Ewekoro Local Government, Engr. Sina Adegbenro; Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat; former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo; and members of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ewekoro and Ifo II State Constituencies, Hon. Yusuf Amosun and Hon. Fola Salami respectively.

Other leaders who threw their weight behind her candidacy include former Majority Leaders of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Israel Jolaoso and Hon. Bode Adeaga, as well as the Executive Chairmen of Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government Areas, Hon. Idris Kushimo and Hon. Sikiru Adeshina, alongside several party elders, stakeholders, ward leaders, women groups, youth leaders, and loyal APC faithful across the Federal Constituency.

My heart is filled with gratitude as I sincerely appreciate all our Apex Leaders, party elders, ward executives, women, youths, and all loyal party faithfuls across Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government Areas for the overwhelming support, love, and unity displayed during today’s affirmation exercise.

The peaceful and successful outcome of the exercise is a reflection of our shared believe in unity, fairness, progress, and the enduring strength of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC). Your sacrifices, prayers, encouragement, and commitment to this journey remain deeply valued and appreciated.

I attended the Ogun Central APC Stakeholders' Meeting held at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, where party leaders, elected officials, loyalists, and members gathered to deliberate on the political future and continued progress of our great party within the senatorial district.

It was great to once again witness the political ingenuity and leadership of our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, alongside other respected party leaders, in sustaining the ideology, unity, and stability of the APC in the State.

The meeting also featured the formal presentation and reaffirmation of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan as the party's consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 elections as well as the unveiling of Senator shuaib Afolabi Salisu as the endorsed consensus senatorial candidate for Ogun Central.

The growing unity across the three senatorial districts remains a strong indication of our collective resolve to strengthen the APC and sustain progressive governance in the State.

As a part of our continuous political engagement, I had fruitful interactions with party elders, leaders, stakeholders, ward executives, women leaders, youth Representatives, party faithfuls in both Ewekoro and Ifo Local Government Areas.

The engagements further reaffirmed the collective commitment of our party leadership and stakeholders to unity, fairness, inclusiveness, and the consensus arrangement reached in the overall interest of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC). It was blissful to witness th shared belief that sustainable progress can only thrive where cohesion, mutual respect, and collective purpose are prioritized.

I was deeply humbled by the overwhelming show of support, encouragement, and goodwill expressed throughout the engagements. I sincerely appreciate the hierachy and leadership of our great party for their steadfast commitment to internal democracy, equity, and peaceful consensus-building. It is my firm belief that history will remain kind to every leader and stakeholder who continues to place the unity, stability, and future of our Federal Constituency above personal interests and temporary political differences.

I receive this not as a personal victory, but as a collective responsibility entrusted to me by our party, leaders, and faithful whom I hold in the highest regard.

My profound appreciation goes to my father, leader, and mentor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State, for his consistency, strong belief in equity, steady guidance, and unwavering commitment to strengthening party cohesion at all levels.

My dear people of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency,

There comes a moment in the life of a people when hope gathers strength, voices align, and a new chapter begins to unfold. Today marks such a moment for us. With a deep reflection and a firm sense of duty, I stand before our leaders as a key contact to our people to unveil my Nomination and Expression of interest Forms to contest for the House of Representatives. This is more than a step forward; it is a rebirth of our shared vision, one that seeks to consolidate the gains of those who have served while opening doors to a more inclusive and participatory future.

I sincerely appreciate the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his steadfast support, confidence in my ability to have served as a member of the State Executive Council; our respected elders and leaders across Ifo and Ewekoro Federal Constituency for their guidance and support towards my aspiration.

Many of you know my story and my journey in public service at the grassroots, in the legislature, and as commissioner serving in key ministries.

These experiences have prepared me not just to lead, but to serve better. I understand our challenges, I see our opportunities, and I believe strongly that our Federal Constituency deserves representation that is close to the people, accessible, and responsive at all times.
