“Seriously Nana, it’s Mary and her step brother alongside their father.”

he said stretching his hand out for me to hold but I didn’t.

“Wait why? Where are you or they taking them to and who are those who wants to take them? ”

I asked looking really confused than I was before now.

” The police of course, who else if not then.” He replied and struggle off like it was nothing.

” Why? Why would they come for them? What for?” I asked.

“Nana, because they both put head together and kidnapped us. “Derek answer frustrated.

” I would have understood better if it’s only it’s only Mr. Tatsumi they are here for. “I replied.

” Don’t tell me you are going for those two people who tried to kill you?”

Derek asked making me shake my head negativity mouthing a no.

“If course, I am going for Nicholas and his sister.” I replied.

” Will you for once try and put yourself in their shoe?

Mary was desperate to meet her father which she thought he’s dead for almost 15 years.

How would you feel if someone suddenly tell you that he or she knows where your mom is.

And with the story your dad told you, he didn’t tell you where your mom’s grave is.

Neither where you able to see her nor where you able to know how she looks like not to talk of seeing her pictures.

“Will we meet at the law court in the next one week.” With what he has said, he left banging the door shut angrily.

I fell to the floor and cried myself to sleep still on the floor……..

# Hours later 😌

“Ma’am, ma’am, ma’am, you need to get up from that position and leave for your home. ”.
I heard someone says making me rub my eyes only to find a nurse holding her hands out for me.

I took it and she helped me up then sat me on the bed.

Helping me massage some of my body part then did some checks before giving me the prescribed drugs that the doctor prescribed.

I thank her then left for Derek’s mansion not to talk to him but to take my things.

I need some times to think straight before the court hearing.

Entering the mansion, I met him sitting with books on his laps.

But the moment he saw me, he stood up and packed his things without sparing me a glance.

“Derek I….”

“You choose them didn’t you? “He asked cutting me off.

but didn’t allow me to say anything before walking off.

I walk into my room and packed everything I will be needing before walking out dragging along my things.

I bid some of the workers I met on the way good bye then walk out of the house.

I saw Derek talking to one of his driver but I didn’t bother trying to talk to him again.

I walk out of his house premises then took a taxi down to my house…

Keeping my eyes close, I await someone's cry which i would recognize but I didn't here any.
Opened it back then found him smirking down at us.

"That's not how the game goes." He said laughing before turning to the lady besides him.
Then I recognized her. She's Derek's step mother.

I wonder what she is doing here, I thought turning to look at Derek.
But he has this non surprise gentle look on his face.

"Woman what do you want in return for him?" He asked using his gun to point at Derek.
" I want 50 percent share of everything you have." She said smiling in a flirting way.
No wonder Derek hate her so much.

"I don't care about what you are going to do to him, just make sure he isn't alive to speak just like we did to his mother. "

She said throwing her head to the back while laughing.

"But am not going to give you 50 percent of what I have, I am going to give you 80 percent. "
He said and she blushed giving him a kiss on his lips who his son choke.

Breaking the kiss, he shot her in the head and she fell flat to the floor dead.

"And the next one is you. "He said pointing the gun at Mary.

" You can't do this dad, she is your daughter." Nicholas yelled.

"A daughter I never wanted! "His father yelled back.

" I didn't raise and teach you to be a coward, I want you to be like me. "His father said.

" Be like you? By killing your own child and blood!" Nicholas yelled angrily.

" Boys take him away. "His father said and some men rush to Nicholas side ready to carry him.

But instead, he brought out his gun from his back pocket then shot the guards who were to take him out of the place.

Just as the father pulled the trigger, he ran into her side then took the bullet for her.

while shooting his father in his two knees so that he wouldn't escape.

His left hand was bleeding badly then his father fall unto his knees.

He was about grabbing the gun but Nicholas was fast enough to kick it out of his reach.

Just then some group of men came in and release us from the tie.

Which I later realize that they were the secret police cops.

After being checked,I was so exhausted that I passed out on Derek's leg where he was rocking me.

I rolled over to change my sleeping position but was stopped by the heavy thing on my stomach.
Fearing I might be back to that same hell where I was held hostage.
I quickly open my eyes but shot it back due to the brightness of the room.

Calming my Nerves, my mind went back to where I was held hostage of.
Looking around,I found Derek laying on my stomach while holding me.
He is sleeping peacefully on my stomach and soft snore makes their way out of his mouth.
Here is the guy I have fallen for since a long time ago.
The same guy who played hard to get is here laying on my stomach sleeping.
If someone had told me I would have woken up to see Derek laying on my stomach one day,I would definitely deny it.
Because then,he saw me like a dirt and stain on his white spotless cloth.
My heart will forever beat for this guy laying in me.

Taking my mind back to when we both let out our anger,I couldn’t help but Chuckled.
Then I remember Mary who passed out due to go shock of being shot.

And Nicholas who was cuffed same as Mary and his father but they where taken to the hospital.
“A penny for your thoughts sweetheart.” I heard Derek said making me melt away.

My heart was dancing in happiness because he called me sweetheart.

Her lips kept moving in rhymes while my hands moving down to his hair.
I hungrily but careful pulled his hair making him groan silently into my mouth.

Bitting my lips for the opening I have been denying him, I whine and he let himself in.
All I was tasting in his mouth is raspberries mixed with honey.

“Sir,you are needed outside.” A guard who I know to be his personal bodyguard said but he didn’t move an inch.

Or should I say we didn’t make any move to stop kissing.

“Derek you have to come out right now before they take them away.” It was Lucas voice I heard this time.

Just as we are about to used our head to fight we both heard Derek voice making us stop and sit.
“Instead of you guys shouting and screaming like a small child, you should just bite yourself off then. ”
Derek said making us hissed and roll our eyes at him.
“I even thought he has something good that would save us from this hell pit “I said.
” The hell pit you two put me into. “He interject Instantly.

” Really? We? What happened to her? Isn’t she the cause of this?” I asked making my anger book again.
” If you have told me what the hell was wrong with you since when I have been asking.
And even before you rush off like that lying that you where going to the toilet, I wouldn’t have been here. ” He said angrily.

It been minutes that we have been doing staring competition between the three of us.
Not a single person word have we said to each other after those men successful wake them up.

I finally summon up all my questions and anger then asked.

Nana.

I wanted to turn around and sleep well but unfortunately, I couldn’t.

Because something or someone is holding me back from doing so.

I opened my eyes to see what or who it was only for me to feel pain from my head.
I quickly close my eyes while waiting to use my hand to shed the sunlight coming in but couldn’t.
I tried again but still couldn’t. Instantly, I opened my eyes back to check what’s wrong with my hands.

My hands were tied up backwardly to the chair while my legs weren’t.
Then those memories started coming and adding up.
I realized I was knocked out and kidnapped by some men thanks to Mary.
That bas***d lured me into the hands of kidnappers.
I thought using my chair to scarp the floor while breathing heavily.
“Will you stop struggling because it’s of no use!” Someone yelled from the other side making look forward.
There’s a door there with a very big hole, but the hold is guarded with thick iron.
Which you can’t pass through aside your hand which will take sometimes before it even pass through.
Taking my eyes away, I saw two more chairs with rope there which means people are still going to occupy it.
In the same room, there’s an office table and chair there with files scattered on it.
I tried stretching my neck but all I saw is Derek picture, my picture and Mary’s picture.
They were all circled with a red colour Maker, I think.
I tried looking into it the more but couldn’t so I decided to make Noise with my chair again.

“It’s like you have a death wish, ordinary simple instructions, you don’t understand.
I wonder why all you rich people are these proud and stubborn. “He cursed eyeing me.
” Well, am different cause am not rich and two, if you get to know me very well, I’m not arrogant.”

I defended eyeing him with the same bad eye he is using for me.
“What do you want?” He finally asked after some minutes of us eyeing each other.

The man replied before moving away from us

“Now will you tell me or I should scream?” I asked smirking.

” Fine they are for the pictures on the table.” He said making my heart sank.

“No more question. “He said. They are going to kidnap Derek also.

Only if I have a phone with me, I thought but couldn’t move a bit.
I just pray he didn’t even go down to the top roof…

” Then start explaining! “He yelled still holding the gun up.
One is that if Nicholas is angry, there’s nothing you can do other then tell him sweet words.
To cool his anger a bit then you can finally tell him the real thing.

“She is the one that has been giving us information about how to get those people.
It’s all her ideas son not ours. “I replied then he placed the gun down and walk out.

And those are the two people that helped me in kidnapping them.

I was still tied up on a chair which isn’t convenient at all.

I have tried so many sleeping positions but it’s not working.

Just then, I heard the door open followed by footsteps and the door closed again.
I didn’t bother opening my eyes because I don’t want them to see me conscious.

Who knows if they might say anything useful for me. As in clue to know who the master mind behind this is.

Because the Mary I know prefer to fight with silence than saying it out.
I am very sure someone is behind this.

Just pour him water. “The moment I heard that; I knew what’s happening.

I just finish unplugging everything in the car then arrange the place I will lay her on.
I came down from my car using my black hoodie to cover my head.
But let out my blue curly hair while I threw a gum in my mouth chewing it.
Then a nose mask in my face and a plug in my earphone.
Putting my hands in my pocket, I kept trailing behind the girl, but she didn’t notice.
I know am cute that’s why I use a hoodie so
Girls kept drooling over me with the way I am walking.

Some even brought out their phones to take a picture of me.
But thank God I used a nose mask and a black shade gobble.
The girl am trailing behind kept fumbling with her phone while cursing.
She kept looking around as she took the staircase but thank God I am not that near to her.

And she’s so stupid not to notice me.

Two again, those men and her use their eyes to communicate.

With what she just did, am very sure she is here to lure someone into these men hands.
I couldn’t help but laugh at what she is doing. This girl is really a b***h.

Entering their personal class, I took my seat and Derek switched on the projector.
While the others learn, we also learn the same thing they are learning.
My eyes are glued to the projector, but my mind is far away wondering around.

Waiting for this season to end and for me to search for Mary in our class.

I opened my phone then asked her where she is through message.
Because I don’t want to call her so that won’t sense anything wrong.
Looking around, I was about standing up but Derek held me back.
“Where are you going to?” Derek asked making me gulp down nothing in my throat.
“Huh?” I asked looking at anything else but his eyes. I don’t want him to read through me.
“What’s the matter with you Alma?” Derek asked holding my hand.
” Nothing… I just need to use the toilet.” I lied unlocking from his hold.
” Are you sure you really want to use the toilet? “He asked making me feel uncomfortable.
I quickly remove his hand from my hand when my phone vibrates again.
I stood up and walk out of the room then open my phone.

I didn’t know when I dash through the staircase running.
Getting there, I found nothing aside blood trails making my heart sank.
I fell to the blood crying my heart out. I can’t believe Jennifer is gone.
“No!!!” I yelled standing up angrily with the aim of looking for where her body was dumped.
Or maybe she was able to escape and has crawled into a place.

I don’t know how it happened, but I know it happened so fast.

I watch how they drag the unconscious girl out of the building.
I felt like saving her but that’s not why am here for today.
My mission here is to kidnap Derek for my boss then we will bill his father.
And boom, I will get 40 percent of the share from whatever we bill his father.
Following where they followed, I saw him running upward.

I followed him closely inorder to know why he ran through the staircase like that.
He got to the place and squatted before something as red as blood.
He started rummage through his hair turning it into a messy one.

Which makes him cuter that I find myself blushing.

Moving towards him,I heard him blaming himself for not following her in the first place.
Tears where even rolling down his face but too bad I can’t.

I wish I can help but God knows I need these money.
Tapping his shoulder, he looks up to me then I placed the already shocked tissue on his nose.
He kept struggling with me, but I overpower him because he was already broken.

Putting him inside a sack, I changed to one of the cleaner dresses.
I started dragging him downstairs till I reach my car where I put him inside.

Although, it’s heavy but I have no choice but to manage…
