Chief Cosmas Nwabueze Maduba, his tenure as Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security in Imo State provides another important measure of leadership: what was done with the opportunity to serve.

Maduba’s stewardship of the agricultural sector was anchored on a simple but important understanding — agriculture is not merely about farming; it is about food, jobs, rural livelihoods, economic empowerment and the future of the people.
