SOWORE - N500k minimum wage is not too much for teachers working their asses off to train our children. It is not too much for our military men, who are sacrificing their sweat and blood to make sure we sleep with our two eyes closed.

Now tell me, is it not the same N500k that if you work throughout the year and save all, without touching a dime, can’t get you a tokunbo 2004 Corolla?
When Naira has not become a toilet paper in 2010. SOWORE was paying entry level at Sahara Reporters N150,000.00. He advocated for N100k minimum wage in 2015, N200k in 2023.
Inasmuch as N500k minimum wage doesn’t sound perfect to me, it exposes the reality of the value of our currency, which should interest the ‘Economists’ more. But no, it is the messenger who is a ‘madman.’ Not the morons, who are failing the economy and making tissue paper more valuable than the Naira.
Senators are making away with N16 Million every month, and they steal more too, doing close to nothing ! And the ‘Economic Analysts’ are perfectly fine with it. Senators don’t cause inflation. It is paying the workers well that is bad for the economy.
If our resources are efficiently utilized, our economy is being built and our currency carries weight, do you think SOWORE would say people should be paid N500k minimum wage? But today, tell me, what is so luxurious about N500k that our teachers and soldiers do not deserve it? Family men and women?
I am sure that our children will not miss the SOWORE of their time, since our generation has settled for less. We are in love with the barest minimum, and will rather create excuses for our tormentors. We have made peace with our own misery, and here we are. Congratulations to those of us who will survive, even if Abacha is brought back.
Continue to underrate SOWORE, a man who could have done things differently. And enjoy your slave wage, since no one deserves better. I Dey kuku observe.
