New Port City Project: Greater Port Harcourt City interacts with host communities
- assures of host community participation

The Ag. Administrator of the Greater Port Harcourt City Devlopment Authority, Bennett Chu Esq., said host community engagement is crucial for the success of any meaningful project, adding that the ongoing New Port City development would encourage more investments and business opportunities in Eleme Local Government and it's environs.

Barr. Chu said this today at the Greater Port Harcourt City Devlopment Authority Head office, during an interactive meeting involving the Rainbow Heritage Group, youths and opinion leaders of Onne, Alode, Ebubu and Ogale, as regards the New Port City project; stating that the Authority is more interested in the peaceful coexistence and harmonious relationship between the developer and the host communities, as the project is intended to promote sustainable growth within Eleme LGA and the Greater Port Harcourt City Area in general.

He also affirmed that the Rainbow Heritage Group, developers of the New Port City are known for professionalism; with a long history of community engagement programmes in project ex*****on; thereby assuring youths and opinion leaders from the host communities of government resolve to always encourage host community participation in the New Port City project.

PH-Airport City Broadens Investment base: Engages Business Moguls to Develop House Project .

Yesterday at Hotel Presidential in Port Harcourt, during a business meeting of The Nigeria Billionaires Network, organized by Masta Services Limited, developers of PH-Airport City Project, stakeholders came together to engage the business community and captains of industries, to broaden investment base and muster support for the development of the PH-Airport City project.

The Ag. Administrator of the Greater Port Harcourt City Devlopment Authority, Bennett Chu Esq., said the Authority is entrusted with the critical responsibility of planning, building regulation and development of the Greater Port Harcourt City Area; also to ensure that development within the Authority's jurisdiction is safe, sustainable, orderly, and aligned with the long-term vision of inclusive urban growth of the Government of Rivers State under the leadership of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara (GSSRS).

The Ag. Administrator reiterated that given the prevalent rapid urbanization in our society, government alone can not meet the growing demand for quality housing, modern infrastructure, and well-planned communities. Therefore, strategic collaboration of governments with credible private sector organizations to drive development has become not just desirable but imperative.

Barr. Bennett Chu further described the project as a genuine private sector driven initiative - a Public, Private Partnership between the Rivers State Government, represented by the Greater Port Harcourt City Devlopment Authority and Masta Service Nigeria Limited, adding that the Authority is totally committed to providing every necessary support, including continuous oversight.

While encouraging the general public, investors and private individuals to identify with the housing project, he stressed that property has a valid title document issued by the Rivers State Government to encourage investment; adding that the PH-Airport City is a worthwhile project.
