Every political party submits its itinerary to the police so that no two parties should clash. The first time we wanted to hold a walk, Seyi got the police to cancel the date but we eventually held it and pulled a crowd that no party has pulled in Oyo State till date.
At Iseyin we met Seyi's troupe as we were coming and to our surprise the primary school children trooped out and started shouting "Esin funfun gbera". Since then, Seyi has been uncomfortable with SDP.
Now two weeks ago, the police approved today for our rally. Mapo Hall booked us for today. Yesterday Mapo told us we couldn't erect our tent because Seyi changed his mind and wanted to use it. We resisted and said it isn't Seyi's property so our tent was erected. Only for the police to call us today that we should cancel it because Seyi would be in South East whereas he is supposed to be at Ido. We won't take it lightly. The Commissioner of Police should realise that he wasn't posted to Oyo State because of Seyi but for all of us.

Attention!!!!

There is wrong information that is going around the internet about SDP and PDP of Oyo state. It was broadcast by Engr.Sarafadeen Omirinde that SDP formed alliance with them, is a false that linear to true. Alaga Alabi Titilope (The SDP Chairman saki west)said in is word that , it was fake news!! No one form alliance with PDP stakeholders because they want fade people and confused them so that they will vote for them .
He Said, PDP members as seen incompetent in there candidate, and rigorously severe to represent their people in the state.
Let us be careful and detective in fake news is an act of extortion.

Our attention has been drawn to a Press Conference addressed by a group of gang stars and impostors, where one Chief Ayorinde criminally addressed himself a self styled Governorship Candidate of SDP stepping down into the sinking ship of Governor Seyi Makinde.
It's a well documented notion that Scammers would also shop each other for their nefarious activities, hence, we aren't surprised that Chief Ayorinde, upon all his scholarship, one Kola Balogun and other Co teavellers met at their illutionary market for political jobbing
A small walk into the INEC Office would prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Barrister Michael Folorunsho Lana, a Seasoned Lawyer is the Governorship Candidate of the Oyo State Social Democratic Party by convention and endorsement, with Comrade Aloyinlapa Abdur-Rahman as his Deputy. He's been confirmed by INEC as the authentic SDP Candidate standing for the forthcoming election which he stands the best chance of winning in Oyo State.
Under this circumstance, we say congratulations to these group of impostors and GANG STARS for successfully finding themselves in Governor Seyi Makinde's Pay Role for a living, a Governor who is already emessed in Anti Party Activities awaiting his Waterloo from his party and the public sooner than later.
I want to assure our teaming supporters that SDP is very much in this race with the best chances of winning the elections.
We congratulate all SDP members and supporters alike for Governor Makinde and his cohorts now clearly realizing the threat SDP, our great Party posed to his reelection which has become a mirage. A rejected stone becoming the coner stone in Agodi Oyo Government House, hence, the ploy to cause disaffection within the ranks and files of our great party, SDP, ESIN FUNFUN.
The forthcoming elections are for SDP as the newest and positive alternative to loose and we shall take the opportunity afforded us by well meaning Nigerians this time around with open arms.

Oyo SDP denies adopting Makinde as guber candidate says Adeshina not member of the party.

The Oyo State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has denied adopting Governor Seyi Makinde as its Gubernatorial candidate in the March 11 governorship election in the state.

This is just as it said, Mr. Adewole Adeshina who addressed journalists in Ibadan on Saturday, on the phoney adoption is not a member of the party.

The party in a statement by its Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr. Michael Lana, said the candidates of the party for the forthcoming elections are intact, stating that the fake adoption of Makinde is the job of desperate politicians who realizing there is no hope for them in the elections are desperately paying hungry agents to spread false information to the unsuspecting public.

He said Adeshina whom he described as unscrupulous man is not known to the party neither is he its officer, calling on members of the public to google SDP and would discover that he is nothing but an hungry man looking for crumbs from a sinking politician with his name not on the website of the party.

The former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in the state disclosed that the mega rally of the party would come up in Ibadan on Tuesday, enjoining members of the public to come and see whether Adeshina would show his face and mount the rostrum at the event.

According to him, "Let the public also ask Engr. Adewole whether the name of Chief Ayorinde SAN was the name published by INEC as the SDP's candidate for Oyo State or he has not woken up from his slumber to realise that Chief Ayorinde was only the party's candidate in 2019 and not for 2023 election.

"And he should tell us the National Convention witnessed by INEC as required by section 83 of the Electoral Act, where he and his co-dreamers were elected and at which Congress his conjured candidate was elected."

Lana maintained that it would be preposterous to suggest that he as the governorship candidate of the SDP would step down for a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor who is going to be expelled by his party in the coming days for anti-party activities.

There is rumor that is banging around that SDP Adopted Engr.Seyi Makinde as Governorship candidate Absolute No, because PDP want to distracted people to form alliance with them and they see that SDP have Credible candidate than them that is why they want to confused the people that SDP are form alliance with PDP. Please disregard a drunkard or an abysmal people message.The one who bear kola balogun is the one who form congress with PDP and supreme court as sack him. Michael Okunlade is the state chairman of SDP . My people as I ready said before, disregard there message because the information is not genuine. PDP stakeholders as see that SDP members are there best solution or option, and they see that SDP have strong and credible candidate that is why they are dismal.May we succeed in these oncoming election. SDP!!!
