OSSG HOLDS MONDAY DEVOTION
..Offers Prayers for the State

Staff of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (OSSG), on Monday, 29th June, 2026, concluded the June edition of their weekly Monday Devotion with worship, thanksgiving, and fervent prayers, seeking God's guidance and blessings as they prepared to step into the second half of the year.

Delivering the exhortation on the theme, "Highly Favoured," Pastor Solomon Eduok of All Nation Gospel Ministry, Uyo, described divine favour as an indispensable ingredient for a successful and purposeful life. Drawing from Luke 1:26–30, where the Angel of the Lord appeared to Mary and declared her "highly favoured," he explained that God's favour is not determined by one's status, background, experience, or place of origin. He noted that although Mary came from the humble town of Nazareth, she was chosen by God for an extraordinary assignment through His sovereign grace.

Pastor Eduok encouraged worshippers to remain steadfast in their walk with God and position themselves for a new season of high favour, emphasizing that God's grace opens doors, transforms destinies, and accomplishes what human effort alone cannot. He further cited Noah, Joseph, Esther, Daniel, and Jesus Christ as biblical examples of lives distinguished by God's extraordinary favour.

The devotion featured uplifting praise and worship, heartfelt thanksgiving, and special intercessory prayers for His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D.; the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah; members of the State Executive Council; and for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Akwa Ibom State. Prayers were also offered for divine wisdom, protection, and abundant favour upon the people of the State and nation Nigeria.

Savour this soul-lifting rendition by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government Choir.

It was another uplifting and refreshing experience in God's presence as staff of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government gathered for their Monday morning Devotion, offering heartfelt worship, thanksgiving, and praise to God for His faithfulness, preservation, and countless blessings.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Imaobong Okon, commended staff for their dedication and commitment to duty.
