Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District on Saturday, 21/07/2018 organized an endorsement/reception in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari (Represented by Senator Ita Enang) and H.E Obong Dr. Nsima Nsima U. Ekere at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium.

The Supreme Youth Leaders of Oro Nation for ONE met with the leader of APC in Oro nation, former deputy governorship candidate under the APC at the 2015 general election, Chief Engr. Benedict Ukpong (Okete Okete Oro) to chart the way forward for our principal in Oro nation. The group appraised the leader of its activities and plans towards the success of our principal occupying the Hill top mansion. In addition, the leaders of the group conferred on the leader the Chairman of Board of Trustees (BOT) of the group.
The Supreme Youth Leaders of Oro Nation for ONE is led by Comrade Roland Inwang, who is also the Deputy Chairman of Akwa Ibom State APC Youth Congress. The group cuts across the five local government of Oro nation and draws leadership and membership from various groups within Oro Nation. They include APC Youth Congress, E31, OWO Nsima Ekere, Afangki Empire for ONE, Niger Delta Youth Movement, I Stand with Buhari, Nigeria Youth Democracy, Nlap Isong Akpakip Oro, ONE frontiers, and Obong Nsima Ekere Support Group.

Coronation ceremonies and activites of Ahta Oro, HRM Ahta (Hon) E. O. Isemin as Ahta Oro VII at Oron Civic Centre, April 28, 2018 culminated with the honour of traditional chieftaincy titles to deserving Oro sons, among whom were: Engr (Chief) Benedict Ukpong, Chief Okon Osung, Chief Edet Okon Isong, Chief Edet Okon Nkpubre.
Our principal, the managing director of NDDC, His excellency, Obong Dr. Nsima Ekere was a guest.
