MORE FACTS TO BACK UP OUR SUPPORT FOR UDUAGHAN FOR SENATE 2019:.
Education; the desired light most needed in Africa is a core focus of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration. As a well-trained and successful Medical Doctor, well-schooled and with good understanding of the impact of education in the life of a child and the future of the State at large. Dr. Uduaghan from inception of his tenure set-out to build future leaders in his eight (8) years of leadership. His zeal for education goes far beyond mere state administration but key focus in future leadership and child motivation.

His impact on education began from Primary schools with revamping the educational sector holistically. He was successful in reducing the classroom teacher-to-student ratio by over 50%, employment and posting of teachers to new and existing schools to improve learning standard. The increase in the admission rate of Deltans to tertiary institutions worldwide shows a good result for the effort of his administration on education. Also, the rate of failure in West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has dropped drastically within his eight year tenure.

New schools were built, some were refurbished and academic infrastructure in Delta have now turned a new leave. Students are proud of their State and academic life. The Child Merit Award initiative was another captivating initiative that spur competitive advantage amongst Deltans. Teachers’ effort was well recognized in this administration through the "Teacher of the Year Award" an initiative of Dr. Uduaghan’s administration. Amongst other things social coexistence in schools through promoting social and peer clubs, sports, academic competitions through the Governor’s Cup Award among other competitions and rewards.

WHY NOT UDUAGHAN FOR DELTA SOUTH SENATORIAL SEAT 2019?
Alot of persons have been asking what was DR EMMANUEL EWETA UDUAGHAN achievement during his tenure as Governor of delta state to warrant him representing the good people of delta south senatorial district in the hallowed chambers of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; the essence of this write-up is to bring to fore some of his achievements as Governor of Delta State between 2007 to 2015. On assumption of office in 2007; His excellency was the foremost amongst his contemporaries to set agenda for delta state which includes but not limited to the following:HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT; PEACE AND SECURITY AND DELTA BEYOND OIL.
Flowing from the above it is right to say that a man can only be judged with what he promised to do and if DR EMMANUEL EWETA UDUAGHAN is to be judged based on what he promised he will do as governor of delta state; then we dare say his excellency did excellently well and it therefore shows he's a man who keeps his word.
On HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT; he towers high amongst the past and present leaders of delta state. His excellency knew the value of Education and with his belief that once people are educated it will make leadership easy. During his tenure he introduced policies that went a long way to making delta state indigenes literate amongst which is making sure that registration For primary leaving school examination was free( most indigent parents no longer had to go through the hassles of registering their children due to paucity of funds). He also made sure that students of senior secondary school whom are to sit for the senior school certificate examination did so free because government made it free through intervention. He also made sure Students of tertiary institutions of delta state origin were paid what is popularly known as bursary every academic session and in uping the ante the governor made students of higher institutions more serious with their academics due to the award of five million Naira to any students of delta state origin who graduates with a first class to help them pursue their master degree program. He went further by sponsoring indegenes of delta state for training in Trinidad and Tobago.
ON PEACE AND SECURITY; HIS EXCELLENCY knew the value of community policing in bringing peace and security to delta state which resulted in him setting up a security committed with representatives from almost all the local government of delta. This went a long way in making delta state more secured both on water and land and by extension bringing the needed peace to the state.
ON DELTA BEYOND OIL; HIS EXCELLENCY had the foresight in making sure that delta state revenue was not just oil reliant and by so doing he developed other ways to raise revenue for the state because he knew a time will come when oil will no longer be relevant and like Nicodemus who saw tomorrow; he vigorously made sure that if by any chance the price of oil dips or plummeted in the international market it will not affect our dear state and this he did excellently well through delta state board of internal revenue.
From the forgoing; we the youths of delta south senatorial district will prefer to have him; DR EMMANUEL EWETA UDUAGHAN is our Senator because he has shown to be a man of vision and come 2019 we shall make sure with our PVC he's elected our Senator.

DELTA SOUTH SENATORIAL SEAT 2019: THE DICE IS CAST... never again shall we allow mediocrity to rain supreme or allow party is supreme for persons whom are not intellectually sound to represent us in the hallowed chambers of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria...This is the time for delta south to present a capable hand to represent us in the Senate whom would give us robust representation in the Senate. And of the persons whom have indicated interest so far to run for the senatorial seat; Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan towers high far among the others...

DELTA SOUTH SENATORIAL SEAT 2019: the forthcoming senatorial seat election for delta south has thrown up three candidates to wit: the current occupant, Senator James manager, His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan and Hon. Michael Diden.
From the above names jostling for the senatorial seat, it's clear to say that these are the major contestants and they are all of the PDP. The essence of this write-up is to briefly analyze each aspirant and also being an indigene of warri south from agbassa which makes me a stakeholder in the forthcoming senatorial seat election;and by extension who I am going to support amongst the candidate in the forthcoming senatorial seat election.
Senator James manager who is an ijaw who took over from senator Stella omu has had his own share of representation having been in the red chambers for about sixteen years; for the sixteen years he's been in the house, Senator James manager contributed in no little way in collaboration with the federal government in bringing peace to the Niger delta region and by extension the amnesty granted militants during the reigns of President Umuru Yar'Adua. It's my opinion that it's now time for Senator James manager to take a bow from the red chambers to allow another ethnic group have their in chance for equity, fairness and harmony. Senator James manager who's an ijaw took over from senator Stella omu an isoko and I strongly feel it's now time for another ethnic group to take a shot at the red chambers. The Delta South Senatorial district consist of the isokos, ijaws, urhobos and the itsekiris.
His Excellency; Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan: The former Governor of Delta State is currently aspiring to represent the good people of the Delta South Senatorial district. During his tenure as a governor I was amongst his critics not because I hated him but I believed as at the time he became governor back in 2007; He was the most qualified having being a former commissioner and secretary to the state government and I believed he was better equipped than the other contestants to lead Delta State to El'duraldo. However I will still give it to me for he really did his best in the area of peace, human capital development and delta beyond oil. He made sure salary was paid as at when due, bursary was awarded to indegenes of delta state who are students of higher learning on a yearly basis; law school students were not left out in the bursary largesse, all these and many others were done for the upliftment of the educational sector in delta state. He also did notably well in other areas viz a viz other sectors which will highlighted in subsequent write-up. He's from the itsekiris extract in delta south senatorial district.
Hon. Michael Diden who's currently a member of the delta state house of assembly and also from the itsekiris extract is also campaigning to represent the good people of delta south senatorial district in the red chambers. Respectfully I feel he should not contest for the senatorial seat but it his right to aspire to occupy any office he so desires. My argument for saying he should not contest is he stay a little longer at state house of assembly to groom himself more and most probably when it's time for the itsekiri nation to produce a senator in the future, he will be ready.
Flowing from the above, I have chosen to support His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan for the senatorial seat because amongst the candidates so far for the position; he towers high above all the other candidates.
