As the examination period gradually comes to an end, the NMU Library continues to provide a welcoming space for our students to study, refresh, and recharge. A LIBRARY FOR ALL - Bringing the Library to your doorstep!

The "A Library for All " event was an inspiring and impactful gathering that celebrated the indispensable role of academic libraries in education, research, and lifelong learning.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Miss NMU, Christabel Ugobuwa Mmesoma, while Master NMU, Yakubu Joseph Kulupalre, presented an insightful overview of the theme of the event. His presentation set the tone for an enriching session that followed.

The Guest of Honour, Dr Fatimah Jibril Abduldayan, University Librarian, Nigeria Maritime University, delivered an enlightening lecture on the Importance of the Library with specific reference to the NMU Library, highlighting how the Library continue to serve as gateways to knowledge, innovation, academic excellence, and community development.

The event concluded on a high note as Miss NMU, Christabel Ugobuwa Mmesoma, expressed heartfelt appreciation to her fellow Royal Family and everyone who attended, supported, and contributed to making the programme a remarkable success.

We sincerely thank all participants for being part of this memorable event. Together, we continue to promote the vision of a library that truly serves everyone.
