MOTIVATION OF PERSONNEL:- ADAMAWA CP DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED TRAFFIC WARDENS WITH THE RANK OF SENIOR TRAFFIC WARDEN (STW), OTHERS..

The Commissioner of Police Adamawa, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc(+), today, 01/11/2024, decorated newly promoted Traffic Wardens who have advanced from the rank of Traffic Warden Grade One (TW GRD I) to Senior Traffic Warden (STW). This was Squeal to the recent promotion Welfare initiative approved by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Ph.D, NPM, in recognition of their service and dedication.

The CP While congratulating the newly promoted officers, commended them for their commitment and dedication to traffic control managing traffic rules. He encouraged them to maintain the high standards expected of their new ranks, which bring additional responsibilities and opportunities for impactful service.

Beneficiaries of the Promotion Includes the dancing Hussaini Jidauna, who always control traffic flow at AA Lawan Junction, Onimisi John, Augustina Charles among others.

EMBER MONTHS;- CP HOLDS ACTION PLAN MEETING WITH SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS.

Harps on effective crime fighting strategies

The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), on Thursday the 24th of October 2024, at the Police officers Mess, along Galadima Aminu Way , convened an action plan meeting with Area Commanders, Operational, Commanders, Divisional police officers, Heads of Departments, amongst others, aimed at reflecting on accomplishments, portraying future strategies, and reinforcing the commitment to protecting lives and property and maintaining law and order across the state.

During the meeting, the CP highlighted the significant achievements recorded in the State including frequent raiding of Criminal hideouts, arrest and prosecuting of Shilla Gangsterism, joint operations with sister security agencies, improved immediate response to distress and emergencies, and Constant community policing engagement initiatives with Stakeholders.

The CP while showcasing the dedication and resilience of our officers in ensuring the safety of citizens, noted successes recorded in combating kidnapping, armed robbery, Herders/Farmers clashes and violent crimes.

The meeting equally focused on decisive action plans to further strategies to sustain the tempo in these ember periods to achieving operational excellence in service delivery to all citizens in the State.

The Command Boss, reiterate commitment to transparency and effective communication with the public and will continue to work diligently to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, maintain law and order, promote teamwork, enhance synergy and keep the state safe.

ADAMAWA STATE POLICE COMMAND CONSOLE 153 BASE SERVICE GROUP, NIGERIA AIR FORCE YOLA, OVER THE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT THAT CLAIMS FIVE (5) OFFICERS

The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), expresses profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Commander Nigeria Air Force, 153 Base Service Group Yola, following the untimely demise of his five gallant officers.

This tragic event has cast a pall of grief over the entire Officers and men of the command. The Adamawa Police Command shares in the deep pain and loss felt by the Nigerian Air Force, their families, and all associated personnel. The deceased officers served with distinction, honor, and dedication. Their contributions to the safety and security of our nation will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officers during this period of mourning. We pray that God Almighty grants them the strength to endure this immense loss and may the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.

The Command stands in solidarity with the Nigeria Air Force during this difficult time and reaffirms its commitment to continued collaboration in ensuring the security and peace of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.

*Update on recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Police Force for Constables 2020*

**Day 5 of Physical and Certificates screening exercise in Adamawa State*

Today being 28/8/2020 candidates from Mubi South,Maiha and Gombi Local Government Areas of Adamawa were screened . The screening exercise commenced at about 0900hrs under strict supervision of DCP ISA JIBIR GREMA the head of the recruitment team.

The exercise has so far covered six Local Government Areas, among which are MADAGALI, MICHIKA, MUBI NORTH,MUBI SOUTH,MAIHA and GOMBI Local Government Areas.

The Screening exercise will continue tomorrow 29/8/2020 with candidates from HONG,SONG and TOUNGO while other local Government Areas will subsequently follow.

Candidates from the above mentioned local Governments are advised to keep close to the venue and wait patiently while non Applicants are advice to keep distance from the screening centre.
