Yesterday marked a defining moment in the political history of Adamawa State as our principal, Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki, officially emerged as the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

This victory is not merely political; it is a reflection of years of consistency, grassroots connection, visionary leadership, and the collective belief that a new chapter of purposeful governance is possible.

To the formidable women of the Vunobolki Women’s Vanguard, on the behalf of Her Excellency, Mrs Binta Vunobolki, I extend profound appreciation for your unwavering commitment, discipline, resilience, and visible show of solidarity throughout this journey. Your presence, sacrifices, and steadfastness continue to demonstrate the strength of organized women in shaping political direction and democratic outcomes.

Now that the ticket has been secured, the real work begins.

Today marked another major step forward for the movement as the PDP LG Executives were officially sworn in at Lamurde LGA. The VUNOBOLKI WOMEN’S VANGUARD (VWV) was fully on ground, demonstrating strength, structure, and commitment to grassroots mobilization.

In continuation of the 2027 vision of our Principal, Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki PhD FCA, the able coordinators of VWV Lamurde LGA held a strategic engagement with all Ward Women Leaders and representatives across the 10 wards of the LGA.

It was a productive and impactful gathering with grassroots politicians under our great party, the PDP. In attendance were the PDP Chairman of Lamurde LGA, women leaders from all 10 wards, and ward representatives who pledged their loyalty and readiness to work closely with the VWV in achieving our shared vision.

One critical achievement from the meeting was ensuring that all ward representatives are not just supporters by assumption, but duly registered members and verified PVC holders. The movement is built on structure, participation, and strategic mobilization.

We are not just organizing we are building a winning force from the grassroots upward.

We went.
We saw.
And we are conquering.

Our Voice.
Our Votes.

As the conversation around the future of Adamawa State continues, accountability and proven service must remain at the center of leadership.

The coming week is the week of decision for our dear state-Adamawa. It should be the week of operation show your scorecard by all gubernatorial aspirants.

Today, I am proud to present part of my own record of service during my time as lead project coordinator of the MCRP; spanning education, health care, youth & sports development, rural infrastructure, women empowerment, water supply schemes and agricultural sector support initiatives.

As we move forward, I encourage every aspirant seeking the mandate of the people to also present their scorecards.

The future we desire must be built on credibility, competence, and service to the people.
