NCAT Graduates Eighteen Participants of Firefighter Initial Course No. 3 (FFI-03) from Gambia

The Management of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, has graduated eighteen (18) participants of Firefighter Initial Course No. 3 (FFI-03).
The graduation ceremony took place at the College’s ultra-modern auditorium hall today, 20 August 2026.
The Course Coordinator, Instructor Muhammad Buhari, gave the course appraisal.
Instructor Buhari noted that the course lasted for a period of six (6) weeks. The aim of the course is to teach the students how to manage and rescue during fire incidents at the airport.
The Course Coordinator stated that the students did their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He further stressed that all participants are from Gambia and passed their exams and are ready to be declared graduates of NCAT.
Representing the Rector/Chief Executive, the Dean, Air Traffic Service/Communication, Mal. Nasiru Mu'azu, declared the participants graduates of NCAT.
Prof. Jikanyi gave the sponsored remarks. He thanked NCAT for always impacting knowledge and skills to their students, noting that Gambia will always be ready to sponsor them to NCAT.
Prof. Jikanyi congratulated the graduates on achieving this milestone while charging them to make use of the knowledge and skills gained here in their various fields.
The Registrar, Mrs. Omolade Simbi-Wellington; Dean, Aeronautical Telecommunications Engineering School, Engr. Yor Edward; Deputy Registrar (Academic), Mr. Imoh Effiong; and Head Servicom/Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations, Mr. Balarabe Muhammad, attended the graduation ceremony.
