PRESIDENT TINUBU AT THREE: The Difficult Decisions That Saved Nigeria From Collapse.
History does not always applaud the boldest decisions in real time - but it never forgets them.
Three years ago, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inherited not a thriving nation, but a country gasping under the weight of postponed decisions, subsidy distortions, economic instability, declining revenues, oil theft, weakened investor confidence, and worsening insecurity. Nigeria was not merely challenged; Nigeria was on crutches.
The easy path would have been to preserve the illusion of stability while the foundation continued to crack beneath us. But leadership is not measured by the sweetness of promises; it is measured by the courage to make painful but necessary decisions.
President Tinubu chose reform. He chose reconstruction. He chose long-term national recovery over temporary political comfort.
Today, the signs are becoming visible across critical sectors of our national life.
Our economy has moved steadily from fragility toward recovery. Federation revenues have grown significantly. Foreign reserves have strengthened remarkably. Investor confidence is returning. Infrastructure projects are opening new economic corridors across the nation. Security operations against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and oil theft have intensified with renewed commitment and coordination.
From the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Highway, from the expansion of student loan access to renewed investments in housing, manufacturing, digital innovation, and energy infrastructure β the Renewed Hope Agenda is gradually taking shape beyond slogans and political rhetoric.
No serious nation is built in a day. Even the strongest iroko tree was once a tender shoot protected from the storm.
While challenges remain, it is important that Nigerians assess this administration not merely by the discomfort of reforms, but by the long-term foundation being laid for national stability, economic growth, and shared prosperity.

The 10th House of Representatives remains committed to supporting every legislative effort that directly advances the welfare, security, and economic wellbeing of Nigerians. Nation-building succeeds best when all arms and levels of government work with shared purpose and patriotism.
As we mark this third anniversary, I congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for demonstrating courage at a time when difficult decisions became inevitable.
May Allah (SWT) continue to guide his leadership and grant Nigeria lasting peace, stability, and prosperity.
