Across Sabon Gari Local Government Area, the evidence of purposeful and visionary leadership is clearly visible through an unprecedented wave of federal projects and people-centred interventions facilitated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rt. Facts remain the most reliable measure of performance, and the facts clearly demonstrate the Speaker's unwavering commitment to improving infrastructure, expanding economic opportunities, strengthening public institutions, and enhancing the welfare of the people.
A careful review of the 2026 Federal Budget, alongside completed, ongoing, and awarded constituency intervention projects, confirms that Sabon Gari Local Government has emerged as one of the greatest beneficiaries of the Speaker's exceptional legislative leadership and strategic representation.
These projects form part of a comprehensive development agenda aimed at improving healthcare, education, transportation, security, water supply, electricity, agriculture, housing, youth development, sports, and economic empowerment.
While the elected Member representing Zaria Federal Constituency, Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, continues to discharge his constitutional responsibilities with dedication, the strategic leadership and legislative influence of the Speaker have significantly complemented these efforts by attracting major federal projects that are transforming the developmental landscape of Sabon Gari.
These are not campaign promises or political slogans. They are verifiable projects that have either been completed, are currently under construction, have been awarded for ex*****on, or have been fully captured in the 2026 Federal Budget for implementation. Collectively, they represent one of the most comprehensive federal development initiatives ever undertaken in Sabon Gari Local Government.

Completed Projects
1. Construction and equipping of a 20-bed Primary Health Care Centre at Zangon Dan Borno.
2. Construction and installation of 500KVA/33KV electricity transformers at Bagadaza Dogarawa and Dogarawa Kwantaresha.
3. Construction of 40 solar-powered boreholes, complete with overhead tanks and reticulation systems, at Hayan Dogo and Hayan Malam.
Awarded Projects
4. Construction of a modern community market.
5. Construction of a comprehensive youth recreational centre.
6. Construction of Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centres, with Sabon Gari among the benefiting locations.
7. Renovation and rehabilitation of selected primary and secondary schools across Sabon Gari.
8. Construction of modern six-classroom blocks with suspended floors in selected communities.
9. Construction of two modern diagnostic centres, one in Zaria and another in Sabon Gari.
10. Construction of a modern suspended-floor police station at the Area Command Headquarters, GRA, Sabon Gari.
Ongoing Projects
11. Construction of 320-bed male and female hostels at the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology.
12. Construction of a new airport terminal and runway, alongside the upgrade of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, into a domestic airport.
13. Ongoing dualisation and reconstruction of the road corridor from PZ Roundabout through Park Road, linking Crescent Road and Main Street to Sabon Gari Market.

14. Construction, furnishing, and equipping of a mega town hall, complete with solar-powered inverter systems and perimeter fencing.
15. Construction of Open University Study Centres, with Sabon Gari among the approved locations.
16. Construction and equipping of a Cancer Treatment Centre at ABUTH, Shika.
17. Construction of a five-kilometre road network within Sabon Gari Local Government.
18. Construction of the Sabon Gari Stadium and Recreational Centre.
19. Construction of a modern recreational and entertainment centre at the former Zaria Motel, GRA, Sabon Gari.
20. Additional strategic constituency intervention projects and complementary infrastructure initiatives aimed at strengthening public institutions, improving service delivery, and accelerating socio-economic development across Sabon Gari.

- Distribution of tractors and modern agricultural equipment to promote mechanised farming and improve food production.
- Distribution of deep freezers, sewing machines, grinding machines, solar-powered water pumping machines, and numerous other business support tools to empower women, youths, and small-scale entrepreneurs.
