Should we forget the unforgivable? Peace is often imagined as the opposite of war. But ending a conflict is one thing; learning how to live with its aftermath is another.
As debates around reconstruction, justice and accountability continue worldwide, ‘How Wars End’ examines what it takes for societies to move forward after violence. What role do memory and forgetting play in that process? And is oblivion still possible in a world where everything is documented, archived and preserved?
With Linda Kinstler, Olaf Koens and others.
