Thirty years after the ex*****on of nine Nigerian activists opposing Shell’s oil extraction, this roundtable brings together academics, legal practitioners, and academics (from Shell Must Fall and beyond) to reflect on the long struggle for justice of the people of the Niger Delta and the potentials and pitfalls of using litigation for decolonial climate justice.

- Vrijdag 30 aug, 's avonds: Legal & actie briefing, WEES ERBIJ als je meedoet met de actie.
- Zaterdag 31 aug: MASS ACTION, vertrek uit het kamp om 10.00!
- Zondag 1 sept: Herstel & debriefing voor iedereen in actie, en programmadag
- Maandag 2 sept: Alle hulp nodig bij het afbreken van het kamp.

The route of the march tomorrow!

The march starts at 13:00, but we will come together at 12:00 at Flemish Culture House the Brakke Grond, Nes 45.

For during the March, do not forget to bring warm and possibly waterproof clothing! It looks like it will stay dry and be about 9 degrees, but this could change again and you never know. Since it will be a big march where we will probably also be standing still a lot, it is always nice to put on just an extra layer!

Port Harcourt, river state Nigeria vigil for the OGONI 9 heroes who defended land, water and community against Shell colonial extractivism.

Nothing is forgotten. The Ogoni 9 live on in the struggle of today for climate justice.

On november 10th 1995 these brave landdefenders lives were stolen

They tried to bury them - they didnt know they were seeds - resistance is sprouting until justice is a lived reality!

Amsterdam, join us in learning from the ART of protest in South Africa, USA and Brasil on 3, 4 and 5th of november at Tolhuistuin (opposite Central Station on the other side of the water).

Last year three activist artists from programmed a triptych for the centering the intersection of Art & Everything Climate.

This year we are back with more collaborations. Check out the website for more info per program!

Note: the program of 04th of november is not a presentation but a workshop on exploring restorative justice in USA where Shell has operated aince 1912 and has aggravated birds, breathers, waterdrinkers, soils and rivers, Indigenous peoples, farmers and workers, environmental defenders from across Turtle Island for a long time. The workshop looks at a country that has a legal system , but missing a hustice system and will facilitate through improv theater and exercises systemchanging notions of justice.
