The current race between BJP and Congress to get the Lokpal Bill passed is just an attempt to get credits for the anti-corruption bill which they failed to deliver in last 4 decades. They have very intelligently made sure that the Lokpal is very weak and inefficient so that they can easily get clear with their misdeeds. Here is a video explaining how the Lokpal Bill presented today in Rajya Sabha is just about making fun of democracy and not a solution to the major issue of corruption.

जिस तरह की होड़ भाजपा और कॉंग्रेस लोकपाल बिल को पास करने के लिए लगाए हैं उससे तो लगता है की उनको इस बिल की सबसे ज़्यादा चिंता है लेकिन सच तो कुछ और ही है. जिस बिल को इन्होने चार दशक तक लटकाए रखा है आज उसको बस इसीलिए पास करने मे लगे हैं ताकि उनको आने वाले लोक सभा चुनावों मे कुछ ज़्यादा वोट मिल जाएँ. लेकिन इन्होने इस बात का भी बहुत ध्यान रखा है की लोकपाल आने के बाद भ्रष्ट नेताओं को कोई परेशानी ना हो चोरी करने में. जनता को लोकपाल के नाम पर ये लोग जोकपाल देकर सिर्फ़ और सिर्फ़ जनतंत्र का मज़ाक बना रहे हैं.
