Het bedrijf werd in de jaren ’70 opgericht door Richard Wernekinck, die zich steeds verder specialiseerde in 100% wolproducten. Wat begon als een klein, maar diverse wolgroothandel groeide uit tot een toonaangevend bedrijf dat zich volledig toespitst op wolvilt gemaakt van 100% wol: een divers product met een breed scala aan toepassingen. ndbekleding om de akoestiek te verbeteren tot kunstobjecten, machinefilters en gordijnen. Dankzij de unieke natuurlijke eigenschappen van wolvilt – duurzaam, circulair en volledig recyclebaar – past ons product perfect in een milieubewuste en verantwoorde wereld. Onlangs hebben we 100% gerecycled wolvilt geïntroduceerd: wolvilt gemaakt van allerlei onbruikbare reststukken of al gebruikt wolvilt. We zetten ons in om alle aspecten van het bedrijf zo verantwoord mogelijk te maken. Van verpakkingen tot het maakproces: alles wordt eens in de zoveel tijd onder de loep genomen om te kijken waar we kunnen verbeteren. Vandaag de dag staat Mischa de Vries aan het roer van HOLLANDFELT. Met dezelfde passie voor wolvilt en innovatie blijft het bedrijf zich ontwikkelen en streven naar een duurzame toekomst. Vanuit Delft worden alle bestellingen voorbereid, op maat gesneden en verpakt voor de klant. We houden vrijwel alles standaard op voorraad en krijgen wekelijks nieuw materiaal geleverd van onze fabriek. Alles, van het administratief verwerken van de orders tot het sealen van de verpakkingen, wordt gedaan door een team van 5 medewerkers. Hierdoor zijn de lijntjes binnen het bedrijf kort, waardoor een vloeiend distributieproces gehandhaafd kan worden. HOLLANDFELT has been the specialist in high-quality wool felt for decades. The company was founded in the 1970s by Richard Wernekinck, who increasingly specialized in 100% wool products. What started as a small but diverse wool wholesaler grew into a leading company that focuses entirely on wool felt made from 100% wool: a diverse product with a wide range of applications. Our wool felt is used for all kinds of purposes, from wall coverings to improve acoustics to art objects, machine filters and curtains. Thanks to the unique natural properties of wool felt – sustainable, circular and fully recyclable – our product fits perfectly into an environmentally conscious and responsible world. Sustainability is essential to us. We recently introduced 100% recycled wool felt: wool felt made from all kinds of unusable leftover pieces or already used wool felt. We are committed to making all aspects of the company as responsible as possible. From packaging to the manufacturing process: everything is examined every once in a while to see where we can improve. Today, Mischa de Vries is at the helm of HOLLANDFELT. With the same passion for wool felt and innovation, the company continues to develop and strive for a sustainable future. All orders are prepared, cut to size and packaged for the customer from Delft. We keep almost everything in stock as standard and receive new material from our factory every week. Everything, from the administrative processing of orders to sealing the packaging, is done by a team of 5 employees. This keeps the lines of communication short within the company, allowing a smooth distribution process to be maintained.
