How it feels living in Texas during election season. Like please stop the ads, please make them stop. So many gross men on my tv.

Also I need one Republican to explain to me exactly why they would vote for this party at this point, I’m so serious. I will never understand. There’s no platform other than keep boys out of girls sports, stop the Islamic takeover and let’s get Texas back. Like, pray tell… back from whom? You’ve run it for 30 years and now we are ranked 49th in the nation for quality of life. Also… so let me get this straight… you don’t watch women’s sports or support women’s sports but you are also obsessed with who plays women’s sports? And also why? It’s such an obscure thing to care about. And also how is this actually impacting you? I’m serious. Like ok you DO NOT want trans women in locker rooms because of r**e if I’m understanding this clearly but you do support a convicted ra**st? Like, the mental gymnastics of being a Republican… it’s crazzzyyyyy. Like, it’s a mindset that needs to be deeply, deeply studied.

And… an Islamic takeover by who exactly? Where? I think I might see one Mosque a year, and honestly that’s probably pushing it. You know what I do pass often? A megachurch whose founder r**ed a child (cc: Gateway Worship). You’d think that would be a dealbreaker but nah… at the end of the day Republicans don’t actually seem to care much about men that r**e children. I mean if they did we’d have the Epstein Files right?

I guess I don’t understand anymore the train of thought even in the slightest.

At this point I’m just impressed with how powerful Republican propaganda was for a period in time. Like, Republicans actively vote against their best interests and for what? A bunch of gross old men who don’t give a singular F about them. I think a lot of Republican voters are waking up it’s just a matter of… will they figure it out in time for us to salvage this state and this country.

I’m putting the Public Utility Commission of Texas on notice: Texas landowners should not be forced to sacrifice their farms, ranches, property rights, and pocketbooks to subsidize massive new power demands from AI data centers and some of the wealthiest corporations in the world.

I’ve fought transmission lines threatening my own family’s land. I know what’s at stake.

That’s why I’m officially calling on the PUC to HALT the proposed 765-kV Strategic Transmission Expansion Plan until the Texas Legislature acts, landowners have a meaningful seat at the table, and taxpayers and ratepayers are protected.

No blank checks. No steamrolling rural Texas. No taking Texans’ land to serve corporate interests without accountability.

We need a reliable grid—but we need to build it responsibly.

Our electric grid should serve Texans. Texans should not be forced to serve the grid.

I wasn’t following the Linsey Clancy trial closely but when 11 jurors agree she’s not guilty and even the holdout - a man - acknowledged doubt about her guilt but refused to apply the legal standard I don’t see why the state would try her again.

And having the president attack the defendant feels like an incredibly unfair environment in which to try her again.
