Today is National Mill Day. The mill in our park dates back to 1892 and was a gift from Holland America Line. The mill has been in the park since 1957 and has grown into a true Keukenhof icon!

Flower report 8 May 2026 🌸

Keukenhof is slowly transforming into a fairytale setting. Around the pond, the trees, including graceful lime trees, oaks and two‑hundred‑year‑old beeches, are coming into leaf in countless shades of green. Further along, towards the Beatrix pavilion, the trees provide shade, allowing tulips to remain in bloom here. On the Spring Meadow, the flowers have now been topped, but our gardeners have replenished the flower beds. Next to the Juliana pavilion you will find the natural garden: a beautifully landscaped part of the park with blooming azaleas, hostas and shrubs.

Flower report 4 May 2026 🌸

During the final week of Keukenhof, rhododendrons and azaleas take center stage. Together with the trees beautifully in leaf, they give the park an historic atmosphere. The last flower beds with tulips, fritillarias, and alliums are blooming, especially in the shady Birch Forest. In other parts of the park, our gardeners are replanting to ensure visitors can continue to enjoy the beauty of the flowers.
