What do you get when someone who has lived across the world joins a team built around bringing people together?
For Laurie, it feels like a natural fit. Half French and half German, born in France and raised between France and the US, she has lived in countries including Mexico, South Korea, the UK and Sweden. Along the way, she learned that different backgrounds donโt have to divide us. They can bring us closer and help us see things differently.
As a Project Manager at Interreg Meuse-Rhine, Laurie supports projects from selection to implementation, reporting and compliance. What attracted her to the programme? Its international team, its strong cross-border mission and the opportunity to use her French, German and English to help make cooperation happen.
Although sheโs new to the team, she already feels at home in its open and welcoming atmosphere. She especially enjoys working with people from different cultures, sharing perspectives and finding solutions together.
Curious by nature, Laurie gets energy from trying new things, taking on new challenges and learning along the way.
