Next Thursday, May 14th, is Ascension Day!
We will therefore be closed on the 14th and 15th (the Friday after).
On Monday, the 16th, we are open again with our regular opening times.

The Library of Science is closed from Good Friday through Easter Monday and on King's Day.

From Friday 3 April through Monday 6 April, we will be closed due to Easter. On Tuesday 7 April, we will reopen and normal opening hours will apply:

Monday through Thursday: 8:15 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.
Friday: 8.15 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: closed except for exam periods.

On Monday 27 April we will be closed due to King's Day.

This Saturday, the Library of Science will be open earlier, at 08:30, due to the Bachelor's Open Day. We hope to see then!

Dear Visitor!
During the upcoming exam period, we have adjusted opening hours again! ⏱️
From March 14th - April 1st we are open longer in the evenings (Monday to Friday 8:15am - 9:30pm) and we are open in the weekends (10am - 6pm). 📖
On Thursday 2nd April we close at 8pm and then the Library of Science is closed during the Easter holiday 🐰(April 3rd - April 6th).

Dear Visitors!

On the 5th, 6th and 7th of January we will be open from 8:15 am until 9:30 pm, just like the rest of the exam period. However, please note that due to maintenance work in the Huygens building the rest of the building will be closed, and ventilation and the energy supply will not be as reliable, including the PC's. We recommend saving your work often if you decide to work on them.

Our opening times during the upcoming exam period will be extended once again! From January 5th until January 22nd, we will be open until 9:30 pm from Monday to Friday, and during the weekends form 10:00 am until 6:00 pm!

🎄 Holiday Opening Hours: Library of Science 📚

Planning your study schedule around Christmas and New Year's? Please note our adjusted opening hours for the 2025/2026 holiday season:

On Friday, December 19, we close early at 5:00 pm.

The Library of Science will be closed from Saturday, December 20, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

We will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026, with extended exam period hours (Mon-Fri 8:15 am - 9:30 pm) and we will be open on the weekends (Sat-Sun 10:00 am - 6:00 pm) until 23rd of January.

Dear visitors!

On November 14 and 15, the Bachelor's Open Days are happening at the university. Because of this, our opening times differ a little bit. Today we close at 8pm instead of at 6pm, and tomorrow we will be open from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
