Airborne Battle Wheels was founded in 1996 to keep the vehicles that were used in the Battle of Arnhem “rolling”.

We do this to keep the memory of those who fought and died for our freedom alive. For veterans, their families and certainly the future.

Dear friends of ABWO,

With less than a month to go until the Airborne Battle Wheels Weekend, we would like to inform you that we are putting the finishing touches on the preparations.

If you have not registered yet, please do so as soon as possible, as we are approaching the maximum number of participants.
Registrations and peayment received after 1 September will be subject to additional administrative fees.

We look forward to welcoming you in September.

This year, the War Department reenactment society will once again put on a medical display at the Concertgebouw in Oosterbeek.

Today, May 5th, we celebrate our liberation; we went for a beautiful ride with a small group.

Registration for ABWO 2026 has been open for a while now. This year, too, we are setting a maximum number of participants of 250, so be quick!

We are busy with all the preparations for a new event.

The permits have been sent out and the basics for the Friday ride are being worked out.
So don't forget to register!
