On Tuesday we welcomed our guests to the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship to discuss the 'Future of (no) Waste'.

The event was a success and included keynote speeches from Eva Gladek from Metabolic, prof. dr. Ruud Balkenende from TU Delft and Freek van Eijk from Holland Circular Hotspot.

Later on the crowd divided into three parallel sessions: plastics, organic and the built environment. These included pitches from start-ups who were moderated by an industry expert.

The event was closed off with a social drink where Marc van der Heijden from Triboo provided a demonstration to showcase their circular furniture.

We would like to thank our partners, speakers and attendees for yet another inspiring event.

During The Future of (no) Waste event on June 25th, one of the innovative parallel sessions will be on Organic Waste.

The innovation department of Milgro, WASTELAB will present how the organic waste sector is evolving into the future and how innovative concepts and collaborations make use of organic streams. Hereafter, three innovators, Fooditive, Peel Pioneers and Sustainable Protein, will present in 7 minutes how they are using organic streams as an input for their process, and what the future looks like from their perspective.

At the end of the session, questions can be answered during the panel discussion with the innovators.
