Our Blueberries Shine in the Netherlands! 🇳🇱

Blueberries are the third most important agricultural product for exports from the Maule Region, standing out for their exceptional quality and flavor. 🟣

While the primary market for blueberries from Maule is the United States, the Netherlands follows closely, serving as a key distribution hub for the rest of Europe.

The European market highly values the outstanding quality, safety, and sustainability of Chilean agri-food products. In this context, a new national exporter joins the market: Agrogolden, from the municipality of Parral, which has overcome multiple challenges to enter this competitive landscape.

👉 With ProChile’s support, Agrogolden has diversified its export portfolio, delivering fresh products directly to European consumers.
👉 Gonzalo Soto Villalobos, General Manager of Agrogolden, highlighted that entering the Dutch market is a major achievement for the company, unlocking new opportunities for its key products: flowers and fresh blueberries.
👉 Agrogolden has taken part in business missions supported by ProChile, which has been instrumental in establishing its independence as an exporting company.

🌍🎬 Chile at IDFA 2024 🌍🎬
This past November 18th, we had the honor of joining the Chilean delegation at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) 2024, alongside members of Chiledoc.

🎬 It was an incredible moment for Chilean cinema, with 14 talented filmmakers representing our country, including 2 documentaries in competition and 2 projects featured in the Pitch.

🌟 We were delighted to have the presence of the Chilean Ambassador to the Netherlands, Jorge Carvajal, who joined us in meeting the directors and producers representing Chile in this prestigious documentary event.

Congratulations to Chiledoc for continuously elevating the Chilean documentary brand on the global stage!

As a Commercial Office we had the opportunity to participate in working groups with universities from Spain, Colombia, Chile, and the Netherlands, sharing experiences and work perspectives. These enriching exchanges were part of the project, which will take place in 2024 and 2025, bringing together six universities from these countries with local industries in their regions. The main goal of the project is to equip students, academics, and professionals with the skills and mindsets needed to thrive in both local and global work environments through the development of joint employability courses. We are proud to support the Chilean delegation participating in the project: Católica del Maule Burgos and CATÓLICA DE LA SANTÍSIMA CONCEPCIÓN Baeza.

✨Yesterday, Embassy of Chile in the Netherlands and ProChile Netherlands participated in a wine and spirits promotion event organized by Diplomat Magazine. The event took place at the Leonardo Promenade Hotel in The Hague. Distinguished guests also participated, including wine importers, sommeliers, chefs, restaurant and supermarket buyers, and members of various diplomatic corps.
