This year´s edition of the sparkling Embassy Festival is to take place on Saturday, September 5 at the Lange Voorhout.

Beautiful Estonian jazz can be enjoyed at the Harmony Hub stage from 13.20.

Duo Tundmus brings vocalist Gloria Elisabeth Jörberg and pianist Lisanne Pappel together in nostalgic vocal-piano jazz. Estonian songs receive a jazz touch alongside original music inspired by the country’s landscapes.

Uus õppeaasta algab uue hooga ning Ülemaailmse Eesti Noortevõrgustik avab oma sügisese noordelegaadi programmi!
Kandideeri ÜENV noordelegaadiks hiljemalt 03.09.2026 ning teeme koos üleilmsete eesti noorte hääled kuuldavaks!

ÜENV noordelegaadi rolli eesmärk on esindada väliseesti noorte vaatenurki ja huvisid oma elukohariigis ning toetada noorte omavahelist suhtlust üle maailma. Otsime aktiivseid noori vanuses 16 - 35, kes on valmis panustama umbes viis tundi kuus vahemikus september-jaanuar, et aidata tugevdada sidet kohalike ja üleilmsete eesti noorte vahel.

Noordelegaadi ülesandeks on luua ja hoida sotsiaalseid kontakte noorte vahel ning toimida kommunikatsioonipunktina väliseesti noorte ja Eesti ühiskonna vahel.

Noordelegaadi roll hõlmab kolme põhisuunda:
1. Sotsiaalmeedia või kirjaliku meedia kommunikatsioon - info ja enda tegemiste jagamine ning noorteni jõudmine kanalites, kus nad igapäevaselt tegutsevad.
2. Oma kogukonna hääle esindamine - kohalike noorte vajaduste, tegevuste ja algatuste nähtavaks muutmine.
3. Ühenduspunkti loomine noorte vahel - kontaktide, võimaluste ja koostöö edendamine eri kogukondade noorte vahel.

The new academic year begins with exciting news: The Estonian Worldwide Youth Network opens its autumn youth delegate programme!

Apply to become a ÜENV youth delegate no later than 03.09.2026 and let's make the voices of Estonian youth around the world heard together!

The purpose of the youth delegate role is to represent the perspectives and interests of Estonian youth abroad in their country of residence and to support communication between young people around the world. We are looking for active young people aged 16 - 35 who are ready to contribute approximately five hours per month between September and January to help strengthen the connection between local and global Estonian youth.

The task of the youth delegate is to create and maintain social contacts between young people and act as a communication point between Estonian youth abroad and local Estonian society.

The role of the Youth Delegate includes three main areas:
Social media or written media communication - sharing information and your own activities and reaching young people in the channels where they operate on a daily basis.
Representing the voice of your community - making the needs, activities and initiatives of local youth visible.
Creating a connection point between young people - promoting contacts, opportunities and cooperation between young people from different communities.

There will be two programmes to choose from:
Estonian-based programme (meetings are lined with EU / US timezones) and English-based programme (meetings are better suited for AUS/NZ timezones). The delegates will be in a shared WhatsApp group and have monthly meetings.

Täna, 35 aastat tagasi, taastas Eesti oma iseseisvuse.

Toonase välisministri Lennart Meri kindlal juhtimisel laiendas Eesti välisteenistus kiiresti oma kohalolekut maailmas, aidates Eestil taastada oma koha rahvusvahelises kogukonnas.

Enam kui kolme aastakümne jooksul on Eesti visa diplomaatia, pühendunud teenistuse ja tugevate rahvusvaheliste partnerlussuhete toel näidanud erakordset julgust ja sihikindlust, muutes meie riigi maailmas suureks.

Tähistagem vaba ja demokraatlikku Eestit, mis vaatab tulevikku lootusrikkalt ja enesekindlalt.

Yesterday our Honorary Consul in Amsterdam, mr. Marcel van den Heuvel, hosted a beautiful concert as part of the program of Grachtenfestival 2026. For this concert, Estonian singer Lee Loré and South Korean pianist Miran Noh joined forces and came up with a unique program featuring selections from the American Songbook alongside original compositions, which resulted in a captivating musical fusion of voice and piano 🎤 🎹

Lee Loré is a vocalist currently studying at the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. At just 20 years of age, she has already distinguished herself through her unique voice, musical sensitivity, and refined artistic style. Miran Noh graduated from Codarts in 2021 and has since developed her own musical path with her ensemble NOHMI. Last year, the group was among the winners of the prestigious Keep an Eye Foundation Record Award.

We were honored to receive a group of students at the embassy last week, who participated in the Private International Law Summer Course of the Hague Academy of International Law. Ambassador Teesalu explained the different aspects of diplomacy and variety of an ambassador’s functions, as well as the ways in which an embassy operates.

We would like to thank the participants for their genuine interest and wish the Academy good luck with wrapping up the course! 🗞️

Since 2009, the Consulate of Estonia has been located at Solitudopad 12 in Amsterdam and has been headed by Marcel van den Heuvel MDR, Honorary Consul of Estonia.
