🕯️Today marks 40 years since the disaster — the worst nuclear accident in history, known as the Chernobyl disaster.

🇧🇾For Belarus, which suffered the largest share of radioactive fallout, this tragedy became a long-term national challenge and responsibility:

📉 Contaminated land significantly reduced
🏡 Hundreds of affected communities restored to normal life
🔬 Advanced national system of radiation monitoring and research

Belarus continues to turn experience into expertise, contributing to international efforts on nuclear safety and recovery.

По поручению Президента Республики Беларусь Александра Лукашенко в Вашингтоне на встрече лидеров в рамках Совета мира Республику Беларусь представит Министр иностранных дел Максим Рыженков.

Беларусь полностью разделяет нацеленность Президента США и Совета мира на разрешение всех мировых конфликтов мирным путём.
Американская сторона уже проинформирована о принятом решении.

By instruction of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Belarus will be represented in Washington at the Leaders’ Meeting within the framework of the Peace Board by Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov.

Belarus fully shares the commitment of the President of the United States and the Peace Council to resolving global conflicts by peaceful means.

Беларусь, Иран, КНДР, Мьянма и Россия выступили с совместным заявлением о движении к Евразийской хартии многообразия и многополярности в XXI веке.

Представители пяти государств напомнили, что идея разработки Евразийской хартии была впервые озвучена на Первой международной конференции по евразийской безопасности, состоявшейся в Минске в октябре 2023 года, и изначально рассматривалась как руководство для евразийской консолидации и общего поступательного развития.

Отмечено, что обсуждение Хартии продолжилось в рамках Второй и Третьей международных конференций по евразийской безопасности в Минске в 2024 и 2025 годах, а также в ходе тематических презентаций и заявлений представителей ряда стран.

Принят к сведению документ «Совместное видение Евразийской хартии многообразия и многополярности в XXI веке», подписанный министрами иностранных дел Республики Беларусь и Российской Федерации в ноябре 2024 года, а также международные брифинги по данной теме, включая площадки ООН в Женеве и ШОС.

Стороны договорились начать инклюзивный консультативный процесс в евразийском формате по вопросам разработки Евразийской хартии и рассмотреть его результаты в сроки и месте, которые будут определены участниками позднее.

Belarus, Iran, the DPRK, Myanmar and Russia have issued a Joint Statement on the Path toward an Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.

The representatives recalled that the idea of developing a Eurasian Charter was first introduced at the First International Conference on Eurasian Security held in Minsk in October 2023, where it was presented as guidance for Eurasian consolidation and common progressive development.

The statement notes that discussions on the Charter continued during the Second and Third International Conferences on Eurasian Security in Minsk in 2024 and 2025, including relevant presentations and statements by representatives of a number of countries.

The parties took note of the document “Joint Vision of the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century”, signed by the foreign ministers of Belarus and the Russian Federation in November 2024, as well as international briefings held at various venues, including the UN Office in Geneva and the SCO headquarters.

The participants agreed to launch an inclusive Eurasian consultative process on substantive and procedural aspects of the Eurasian Charter and to consider its results at a later stage.
