🇹🇭🏛️ **เปิดประตูอาคารประวัติศาสตร์กว่า 150 ปีของไทยในกรุงเฮก — และสัมผัส Thailand Gallery**
เนื่องในโอกาส Open Monumentendag Den Haag 2026 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮก ขอเชิญชวนประชาชนร่วมเปิดประตูสู่หนึ่งในอาคารประวัติศาสตร์ที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสัมพันธ์ไทย–เนเธอร์แลนด์ ในวันเสาร์ที่ **12 กันยายน 2569 เวลา 13.00–15.00 น.**
อาคารที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ณ 123 Laan Copes van Cattenburch สร้างขึ้นระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 1871–1872 และได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็น National Monument ของเนเธอร์แลนด์ เมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1990
ประเทศไทยได้ซื้ออาคารแห่งนี้เมื่อวันที่ 23 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 1923 ในนามรัฐบาลไทย นับแต่นั้น อาคารแห่งนี้ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของประวัติศาสตร์การทูตไทยในเนเธอร์แลนด์มากว่าหนึ่งศตวรรษ ผ่านทั้งช่วงก่อนและหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 โดยทำหน้าที่เป็นสถานกงสุลใหญ่กิตติมศักดิ์และทำเนียบอัครราชทูต ก่อนจะเปลี่ยนเป็นที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเฮกเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2535
อาคารแห่งนี้ยังมีความสำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างราชวงศ์ไทยกับเนเธอร์แลนด์ โดยได้รับการบูรณะครั้งใหญ่ในปี พ.ศ. 2503 เนื่องในโอกาสการเสด็จฯ เยือนเนเธอร์แลนด์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ซึ่งทั้งสองพระองค์ได้เสด็จฯ มายังอาคารแห่งนี้ด้วย
ปัจจุบัน อาคารประวัติศาสตร์แห่งนี้มิได้เป็นเพียงสถานที่ปฏิบัติงานทางการทูต หากยังเป็นพื้นที่ที่เชื่อมโยง ประวัติศาสตร์เข้ากับประเทศไทยร่วมสมัย ผ่านโครงการ Thailand Gallery ซึ่งสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ริเริ่มขึ้นเพื่อเป็นพื้นที่ต้นแบบทางวัฒนธรรม นำเสนอมรดกอันทรงคุณค่า งานหัตถศิลป์ชั้นครู ศิลปะ ความยั่งยืน และการออกแบบสมัยใหม่ของไทย
ผู้เข้าชมจะได้เยี่ยมชม Rose Room, Queen’s Room และ Thailand Gallery พร้อมชื่นชมงานวิจิตรศิลป์ งานสร้างสรรค์ร่วมสมัย และเฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่ออกแบบขึ้นเป็นพิเศษจากผ้าไทย รวมถึงผลงานจากความร่วมมือกับ “Eichholtz” แบรนด์ไลฟ์สไตล์ชั้นนำของเนเธอร์แลนด์

🇹🇭🏛️ Step Inside More Than 150 Years of History at the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague — and Discover Thailand Gallery
For Open Monumentendag Den Haag 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague opens its doors to the public for a rare opportunity to discover a historic landmark that has witnessed more than a century of Thai–Dutch relations.
Built in 1871–1872, the Embassy building at 123 Laan Copes van Cattenburch is over 150 years old and has been designated a Dutch National Monument (Rijksmonument) since 1990.
Thailand acquired the property in 1923, and for more than a century it has played an important role in Thailand’s diplomatic presence in the Netherlands — serving at different times as the Thai Honorary Consulate-General and the residence of the Thai Minister, before later becoming the home of the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague.
The building also holds a special place in the history of Thai–Dutch royal relations. It underwent a major renovation in 1960 on the occasion of the visit to the Netherlands by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, during which Their Majesties also visited the premises.
Today, this historic monument continues to tell Thailand’s story in a new way through Thailand Gallery — a cultural space initiated by the Embassy that brings together Thailand’s rich heritage, master craftsmanship, fine arts, sustainability and contemporary design.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the Rose Room, Queen’s Room and Thailand Gallery, featuring Thai fine arts, contemporary creations and bespoke furniture crafted with Thai textiles, including works from a special collaboration with renowned Dutch lifestyle brand Eichholtz.

Ter gelegenheid van Open Monumentendag Den Haag 2026 opent de Koninklijke Thaise Ambassade haar deuren voor het publiek. Een bijzondere kans om een historisch monument te ontdekken dat al meer dan een eeuw deel uitmaakt van de Thais-Nederlandse betrekkingen.
Het pand aan Laan Copes van Cattenburch 123 werd gebouwd in 1871–1872, is inmiddels meer dan 150 jaar oud en is sinds 1990 aangewezen als Rijksmonument.
Thailand verwierf het pand in 1923. Sindsdien heeft het gebouw een belangrijke rol gespeeld in de diplomatieke aanwezigheid van Thailand in Nederland. In de loop der jaren deed het onder meer dienst als het Thaise Honorair Consulaat-Generaal en als residentie van de Thaise gezant, voordat het later de thuisbasis werd van de Koninklijke Thaise Ambassade in Den Haag.
Het gebouw neemt ook een bijzondere plaats in binnen de geschiedenis van de koninklijke betrekkingen tussen Thailand en Nederland. In 1960 werd het grondig gerenoveerd ter gelegenheid van het bezoek aan Nederland van Zijne Majesteit Koning Bhumibol Adulyadej de Grote en Hare Majesteit Koningin Sirikit, de Koningin-Moeder van Thailand. Tijdens dit bezoek brachten Hunne Majesteiten ook een bezoek aan het pand.
Vandaag vertelt dit historische monument het verhaal van Thailand op een nieuwe manier, met de Thailand Gallery — een cultureel initiatief van de Ambassade waarin het rijke Thaise erfgoed, meesterlijk vakmanschap, kunst, duurzaamheid en hedendaags design samenkomen.
Bezoekers krijgen de gelegenheid om de Rose Room, Queen’s Room en Thailand Gallery te ontdekken, met Thaise kunst, hedendaagse creaties en speciaal ontworpen meubels vervaardigd met Thaise stoffen, waaronder werken uit een bijzondere samenwerking met het gerenommeerde Nederlandse lifestylemerk Eichholtz.
✨ Mis deze bijzondere gelegenheid niet om binnen te stappen in een historische ambassade die normaal gesproken niet toegankelijk is voor het publiek — en te ontdekken hoe meer dan 150 jaar geschiedenis en het hedendaagse Thailand onder één dak samenkomen.
